too big to fail, which in this case is ... too bad…read more once upon a time, even after acquisition of BB&T insurance, we still received personal attention, they answered the phone, responded to email, now, after 24 years of coverage my emails are bouncing. i tried 3 different levels, all bounced, as undeliverable, rather than an auto-reply "we have made a change, for assistance, please contact xyz@ ..." nope. nothing. no notice of agent change, emails bounce, and calls are answered by somebody that says 'they cannot find my policy' i am directed to a random agent at a random call center that tells me my policy does not exist and would i please give them, a total stranger that refuses to identify him/herself, my personal information so they can 'dig deeper'. imo, insurance is a personal service, and i expect to be able to talk to my agent. it is time to move on.
