It made one of my friends actually leave. The rest of us were either too hungry to care or too engrossed in our conversation to notice. I was part of the former group. This is a buffet style place where it's a flat rate for anything on the menu. Note: drinks and tax are not included in the flat rate. We ordered seaweed salad, pot stickers, fried rice, lemon chicken, duck, and of course sushi. We had bottles of red wine for our drinks. I believe there was ice cream at the end but I was way too full to have one more bite. We plan to return to this fine establishment before our time in Valencia runs out.

I went there for dinner and that night there was only all-you-can-eat buffet. The food was not so good. The only dish I thought was quite good was "Pato Laqueado" which is not Japanese food. The sushi and the sashimi weren't fresh. The sushi rice tasted kind of strange. The sushi rolls and the makis were not good either. The service was slow and not friendly. The atmosphere was not bad, but the bathroom was really dirty. This place was recommended to me by a Japanese friend. It´s a sister restaurant of Tastem, which is apparently the best Japanese in Valencia, but also expensive... Sushi and tapas has a great menu of the day which is very affordable just 12 euro + tax including a starter, main and dessert and a drink. We had the tuna and salmon tartar and the eggplant salmon salad (delicious). Then we had the sushi variation and maki variation. As a dessert we had the sesame panna cota, lovely it tasted just like the more traditional sesame ice-cream but even better! And they had an extra of menu desert which was a kaki cake with ginger ice-cream, very refreshing. (see pictures I added) The only thing I did not like about this restaurant is the white house wine.
