The funny thing is that it never seems like there's a lot of people inside. The only place where we noticed it last time we went was by the sharks. No wonder tho, they just had a presentation about them. Anyhow, I enjoy walking around here, seeing the butterflies and sharks and whatnot .. and I feel it's actually worth the money compared to another ocean place. I could sit where the butterflies are forever just trying to find the most beautiful ones, (they are all beautiful!). The kids LOVED the shark tank where they could stand right by the window and look at the sharks swimming by. The cafeteria is to me a regular cafeteria at a museum. They have the standard things, coffee, sweets, a little bit of food and other drinks. They do have a lot of seating and in the summer they have a beautiful outside area to sit. A big plus is that they have plenty of high chairs so there is a small chance of you having to have your kid in your lap. I don't think I've ever been and not found one. I say what I always say. If you visit Stockholm visit this place even though it might not be on top of your list, but if you have kids you should make it one.

What a nice little playground in the middle of the city. My daughter walked around and around and…read morefound all the little corners of the playground. Loved walking over the bridge (and of course under) watch out tho, we noticed that it does get a little slippery with the gravel on it. We were suppose to buy an ice cream but when we came up to the cafe no one was there. Then my kids started fighting so we left. haha. If you find yourself on the south side with kids then try this nice playground. I can't say much about the history because I didn't have time to read the sign. Next time tho, cause I'm sure it'll be a next time.

We had our oldest daughters 6th birthday party here in the princess room. It was good value for the money. We were 10 children with hot dogs, festis, princess tårts, soft serve ice cream and goody bags. We also had a pot of coffee with cream and sugar for the parents who stayed. Total price was 2015:- and no clean up :). Well worth the money for a party from 1630-1900. The staff is always helpful and the location very clean.

So it was with a little happy 4-y/o friends kid accompanied by us, 3 adults (at least on paper I…read moreguess) that we arrived to Aquaria to see the shark-feeding mentioned on their homepage at 11:00. In the cashier charged all of us, including the little 4 y/o 440kr in total. Woooow!!! We were a little late so we were told to go in by the back entrance so we could see the shark feeding. I saw myself running through rooms for 5-10mins just to get there in time. But that was wrong, it's a 10s walk to the tank. The little room was packed with kids all excited so we had to squeeze us in close to the glass in order to see something. The feeding was a flop because you had to be in the so called glass tunnel (this looked massive on internet but was only like a meter long) which basically fit a handful of kids so most didn't see much. Few minutes later and it was finished. So what else was here but the 10m long aquarium? Well a few with jellyfishes, some exotic fishes, 2 starfishes and a couple of cute seahorses. Next room was much smaller and had a mini waterfall with some salmons in it and lots of vegetation, not much to see. There was a tropic room which was warm and humid with basically nothing much to see. But at least it looked cool walking in a jungle for 15m's around the room. Then there was 2 small containers with farmed salmons from 1-2 year which swam in a circle. Last it was a frog room (held in a 20 square meters) which was kinda exciting to see if you could find the different frogs. If you stretch it, you could spend 20-25mins and that is basically what you get for 440kr for 3.5ppl. If you have time go down to Copenhagen (actually just outside the airport) and you will see a real aquarium instead of this sad place. Or even go and see any of the free fish zoo-stores in Stockholm and have a nicer time. In the end you can spend the 440kr on a nice lunch with a beer or something which will fill you up and make you happy. Aquarium, it's a joke.

Rather disappointing aquarium located on the Djurgården island in Stockholm that doesn't give you…read moreenough for the big bucks it costs to get in. SEK 132 plus another 10 to use a locker for a mere four rooms. Luckily, if you purchase the Stockholm Card it's included. The exhibits themselves include a claustrophobic rain forest exhibit with hardly any marine life, a tiny tropical aquarium, frog room and a Nordic exhibit which has practically nothing. Definitely not worth your time and I suggest skipping this attraction.

If there is a single factor that most makes me want to move to Sweden, it's this playground…read more(followed closely by the country's largely non-xenophobic culture). The space is gorgeous, clean, happy, fun and free. Kids and be kids, run wild, climb on not-entirely-safe objects and structures, engage in not-entirely safe carpentry and the like, jump, yell, enjoy. There is a staffed indoor play area with foosball and other activities, there's hockey equipment... I bet in the winter, the sledding is amazing, here. We were floored. Please please please bring something like this to the US, my compatriots. I didn't check out the toilet situation, but there are numerous cute cafes and restaurants all around the park, a friendly, (I think) well-priced ICA grocery store, Espresso House (Starbucks- / Dunkin' Donuts-like in its ubiquity), and an excellent independent bakery just south of the park on the eastern side.

Rock climbing wall, swings, ropes course, sandboxes, trampolines, skating, fields, gardens, museum, cafe... I mean, you really have everything right here, for all ages. We came on a beautiful day, but there is apparently even an indoor play area for the winter. Very impressed, and bummed we found it on one of our last days of our visit.
