The shoes here are obviously the big draw, but they also have amazing leather jackets and bags. Even D who breaks out into a cold sweat when buying sneakers is obsessed with their shoes and now owns three pairs. All are super stylish and incredibly well made. Both times we shopped here we were helped by Manuel. He was incredibly helpful and VERY patient with my anxious husband. For those of you visiting the DF with limited Spanish, Manuel and most that work here are fluent in English as well. Though Manuel was very sweet and suffered through my terrible attempts at only speaking in Spanish to practice. We love this store and plan to come back or shop online for any of our shoe needs!

I always buy my sneakers there, they were the first place I could find a pair of Veja sneakers in Mexico. This is such a special spot and I'm so happy they continue to be a force in the city. Today, I had just finished washing my hands at Cicatriz and popped on over to take a look - just to dip in and out to check out the new merchandise with my mask on. The woman at the door insisted that she give me hand sanitizer, which I obliged. When I didn't rub it in, since ai have skin that rashes easily when she yelled at me that I could leave if I was to touch anything. I calmly replied that I had no intention to touch anything, only to take a look at the updated stock. In a huff she walked past me and said "selfish bitch." I can't make this up. While I am empathetic of her responsibility to enforce the owners rules, I think it's clear that their training has failed them in creating a safe or inviting atmosphere. I would encourage the management and the staff to update their knowledge of Covid transmission so that their protocols are based on science, and basic compassion.
