It's also a short walk from the stretch of the Berlin Wall that's still standing with all the artwork. The staff was incredibly friendly, and if you need English, they speak it without any issue. The rate was solid, the bar was excellent, and the drinks were on point. The whole vibe is trendy in a way that fits Berlin perfectly. Overall, highly recommended and in a great area. This hotel is im a superb location for access to transportation because it's a 5 minute walk to the Gesundbrunnen Train Station and 1 stop away from the large ( VERY LARGE) Central Train Station. We stayed for 1 week and loved Berlin. The hotel rooms are comfortable and service is good. Breakfast is pretty good. I have attached photos. Music is very nice in lobby. JASPER at Reception was Awesome!! If you are in need of a Laundromat, there is one 10 min walk away. We stayed in room 505.

What was wrong with espresso the oldschool way? What happened to the planet's resource shortage? What happened to climate change? Why can't anybody start caring instead of buying another large scale harmful convenience-solution that even the least qualified, trained and probably underpaid receptionist/barista can operate?

To start, the lobby has a great vibe, huge with lots of areas to sit in: I saw some people working on laptops, some groups talking, with no apparent feeling of a requirement to get anything from the bar. The chain that it reminded me most of was Moxy, but it didn't feel as artificial as that can. I apparently got upgraded due to Radisson status, and my room was great, very modern design, spacious, and several huge windows that opened fully. Comfortable bed, everything well maintained and supplied. The location is in an interesting lively area with short connections to useful Ubahn and bus lines. The interesting areas in Berlin are so spread out that easy transit access seems more useful that a short walk to any one thing.

Food around the hotel is okay (but there's a lot better options 1 S Bahn stop away on Schönhauser Str). The FEX train stops here as well, which is fantastic. Where this hotel is lacking is in the details. The layout of the room works, but the tiny shower and bathroom are very impractical and I scratched myself a few times on the door handles. The bed is alright, but nothing great. The AC is not really functioning, but you can open the windows. Housekeeping is inconsistent. Still, this is better and nicer as opposed to the Moxy next door. For location alone, this place gets 2 stars. 1 star for the decent room.

There were also a lot of sirens. When our neighbor's TV got louder we called the front desk to ask if they would ask them to turn it down. They said no because night hours start at 10 and it was 9:05pm. They did not care that we had an early flight the next morning. It looks nice when you walk in but when you look closer a lot of things are broken. The table top was not connected to the base. There were small holes in the curtains. The windows didn't seem to close tightly. When we checked in they made it sound like breakfast was included with our room. But when we went to get breakfast they said we're not on the list and it's 18 euros per person. You can get breakfast for 1/4 of that at many of the nearby restaurants. Good showerhead and comfy pillows. Close to a train station. Those are the only nice things I can think of.
