Patisserie heaven! Sugar therapy in small portions! Not typically a sweets fan but it's my second…read moretime here in a week. I have a weakness for intricately decorated tiny treats. Selection features princess cake (that round green thing with a crepe-like skin and layer of creme topped sponge cake... Which they've made look like a frog face) , icing covered raspberry jam tarts, chocolate balls covered with what looks like coconut or chocolate shavings, Swedish renditions of cheese cake and carrot cakes, whipped meringue tart with apple curd, almond tart (mandeltarte) with fudgy almond bits embedded... How can anyone come in here and order a stupid salad? If you pair something with coffee, it hasn't been too sweet so far...
The staff were patient with explaining the contents of each baked good I asked about and suggested things I might like when I told them what i liked/didn't like.
