I interviewed last week for a position here having interviewed before I felt good about the position. I didn't end up taking the previous role because they waited two weeks to call me to say I got the job. I had been applying to other places and those other places gave me a specific deadline and met it. With this manager, I was told I would be called a specific time and instead had to wait two weeks. I had to decline the job at Ulta - one that I wanted - because I accepted a different job. The manager Sharon immediately recognized me during my interview last week and said we've interviewed before and I confirmed. She then made the snarky remark of "You didnt want the last job, right?" I laughed it off. After our interview on Thursday she said she'd give me a call no later than Tuesday to give me an update. I called on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and finally again today on Saturday. She told me they moved forward with another candidate while I've been calling them for days for an update despite her giving me a timeline of when she would call me, which she didn't. This is why I took the other position before. This store lacks communication and it shows. Communication was a big thing in my interview and I let her know that. They lack that. I told her about this and me waiting despite her telling me she would call me on Tuesday for any update and Sharon's response was "Okay no problem". Like, what??? Very dismissive and zero accountability. I can see why they have 3 stars. It came off very retaliatory and dismissive and rude because she kept bringing up me not taking the other role during my interview. After our phone call, about 5 minutes later she send me an email saying I didn't get the position. If someone was better qualified, good. But at least follow through on what you say and don't be rude when we tell you to follow through. I would like a response or update on this please. read more

We walked in a few gals working. One had her headset on, she seemed like the boss, she had a ponytail, white blouse tucked in black pants, and was a bit rude. We asked her about a product, and we got just a no!! That's it she turned and walked into the back area. We just stood there. So we walked around to see if something comparable, she came back out, I asked her if any similar, she did not say a word then she said this might be similar, handed it to us and then walked to the cashier area and looked at us and talking to the other cashier, and we could tell she was talking about us. I really enjoy coming to this ulta I come for my hair but unfortunately they do take multiple clients at the same time even tho you were helped first .. and to me that seems unfair I think you can ether find a better ulta for hair and beauty other than that some of the workers are nice and some fake to be nice . read more

This was on February 9, 2025 around 5:30pm, my receipt checked out at 5:59pm. I was helped by Jasmin/e. I am not a girlie girl at all and make up to me is the hardest concept to grasp. However, I had a special occassion coming up and I really wanted to actually put on make up for once. I tried ordering foundations and playing with it but none came out right. Either too orange or too light. I decided to get color matched, and asked for help. I have attempted to ask for help and get into make up a bit in the past but every time, whether it's Sephora, Mac, or Ulta- I get overlooked and not taken seriously. I always feel like the "Pretty Woman" of make up shops. This day, Jasmin/e helped me get color matched and answered my questions. She was patient with me, she answered my questions and was more than helpful. Deep down inside I wanted to cry. I left there feeling relieved and heard. To finally have someone help me, genuinely. I'm serious when I say I feel like the Pretty Woman of make up shops. Make up is rocket science to me for some reason. Thank you so much Jasmin/e. I hope this gets to you. read more

Had an appointment at 2pm for my daughter to get hair tinsel, 15 minute appointment. Got there at 1:40 to check in. At 1:53 the "Stylist" came to say she couldn't take us today because she had other appointments to get to that were hair color, cuts, and highlights. She knew more than an hour before our appointment that she was running late and there was no courtesy call or any heads up. Made us get there and inform us we couldn't be seen or we'd have to wait more than 40 minutes and that would still be no guarantee. She said she didn't want to push anybody out, but just meant she didn't want to push any of her more expensive/more time appointments. She had no problem pushing us out. THEY TAKE PRIORITY TO THEIR MORE EXPENSIVE SERVICES! Their only solution was to schedule for a farther out date or to call a different ULTA to see if they had any availability today, which none did. Just making us waste our time and gas! Ruined my daughter's day. No point in having appointments if they're not respected equally. read more

I was waiting about 5 minutes for someone to help me with hair care serum products and no one helped I had a lady stare straight at me and just kept walking I followed back and she didn't even bother at least saying we will help you in a moment... nothing! And I was about to go in line and someone shouted at me asking me how can I help you with such a disgusting attitude as if I am being profiled. And her name is Sharon. She is a general manager based of what an employee told me. Sharon literally has an attitude from the beginning once asking her questions and she just looked so ick about everything I felt so uncomfortable I just left after and not purchased anything. I've been back and forth to Ulta buying and returning items because they don't match my shade. When associates come around and ask if everything is okay, I say I'm just trying to find my shade and they move on. However, today Jasmine offered to help find my shade and she didn't make me feel like I was bothering her. I came into Ulta needing some Halloween costume related supplies when I somewhat spontaneously asked a worker, Zully, for help after she asked me if I needed assistance. I gave specifics to look into a mauvey-brown, satin finish lipstick, and she gave me five options of the same brand. Like magic, the first one caught my eye, and when she helped me swatch it and try it on, it looked magical I appreciated her good eye and kindness Note: She recommended Clinique's Even Better Pop in "Tickled", and I am a medium tan Filipina. **Salon Review** I've gone to Gloria twice now and each time was left with a beautiful haircut with exactly what I asked for. The first time was a straight across cut with some face framing which grew out so beautifully. The second cut provided me with bouncy layering and helped bring my hair back to life. Trash set up, trash standards, trash service and trash management. The employees are actually helpful if you can flag one down because they're so understaffed. Advice: drive a little further to Tustin marketplace. This locations speaks for itself. If it's a quick trip then go but good luck finding things you want as most items are out of stock. read more

I had an appointment 2/27/22 @4pm at the hair salon for a curl hair do. My appointment was made a week ago. I called today at 3pm for directions and they told me they didn't know why the system let me book the appointment but they were busy and booked. I had a gala I have to go and needed my hair curled. The service sucks , if they knew it was a problem to book at 4pm why didn't I get a call to let me know? Why didn't I get a courtesy call? The service I received was a few days before I got married so I needed it to look good and it exceeded my expectations. I got my hair done by Dana C. and I had the best experience! I got the all over color and Dana left my hair looking amazing, feeling soft and with no leftover spots on my scalp from the hair dye. She also provided the best customer service by answering my questions and making sure I felt comfortable during the process. I definitely recommend getting your hair done by her! read more

This review is regarding their salon services: I had an appointment with Esme on a Saturday. Not only did she slay my hair, she was also training an associate at the same time. This is my first time getting my hair professionally dyed. Esme not only exceeded expectations but also changed my perspective on professional hair care. First she assessed my hair and asked several questions to make sure she knew what I wanted. I was super impressed as she called several specs to different strengths of lightener she used for different steps in the process. I was not expecting the attention to detail she paid to every strand of my hair. It took a few hours (for my naturally black hair) to lighten exactly the way she wanted it, but the results are incredible. I currently have the hair of my dreams and very stoked about it. I'm already trying to figure out when I need a touch up so I can make my next appointment with Esmeralda. read more

Parking is awesome new commercial strip mall lots of different options to shop at. I went in to shop for the new NYX don't stop won't stop foundation the girl that helped me was absolutely amazing she went out of her way to explain how and what when was basing her color matching.
