I moved to GA in August and two other stylists to do my hair. First one fried the ends of my hair,second one didn't seem Like she was very interested in doing my hair. So I gave one more try to find the stylist for me. I found her! MORGAN E. was so professional and really listened to me. I will be going back for sure. So I work as a dasher temporarily, I went to an employee and asked where can I find certain brands of the customer I was dashing for. She said specifically that she can't help because I'm getting paid to look myself and that I find that very disappointing and ridiculous. The fact is I'm a customer helping another customer, and I didn't ask where specific things are(lip gloss, eye liner, foundation shade), I only requested that can she help me find the certain brands then I'll look myself. I didn't catch a name because I was so thrown off by the interaction that I was just so flabbergasted. So as I'm circling the whole store, I look over and that same employee is directing another customer where stuff is and showing them where a product is, and I felt so unimportant. Just because I might be getting paid to shop, doesn't mean that you can decide not to help a customer because of that. But I went to find another employee, and she was so wonderful and helped me find the brands and pointed me in the right directions, and this came from an employee at the front desk working the cashier register. She was so wonderful and made my first dash(shop and deliver order) so much better and now I feel more confident I can find help from this store. I'm only writing this because people deserve to know that this location is very dependent on who to ask because not everyone is friendly. I recently visited the Ulta here in Statesboro, Georgia, and the birthday rewards system was a joke. Both my sister and my little cousin had their apps ready to claim their birthday gifts, and neither of them could because the system wasn't working. A cashier said we might have it in our emails, but the emails also weren't working (that's completely not our fault). Ulta advertises birthday rewards as part of the customer experience, so if you're not going to honor them, it feels like a scam. Then when I went to check out, I was expecting to get my Benefit free gift since I purposely got more products to hit the requirement of money spent to redeem a gift. The cashier didn't even mention it. I only found out later--when my aunt tried to redeem hers--that they were "out of stock." And when I asked if I could redeem it later when they get back in stock since I paid the amount to receive a gift, the answer I got was that the gifts are "first come, first serve" and "limited quantities." Fine, if that was communicated beforehand. But it wasn't. We had a lot of help from multiple different staff members that had the chance to tell us they were out of stock or give us any kind of information at all, honestly. I wouldn't have picked out random things to hit the requirement if I had known there was no gift to redeem in the first place. At the very least, employees should tell customers upfront when rewards are out so we can make an informed decision, not find out after the fact when it's too late. On top of that, this is supposed to be a birthday perk--something fun and celebratory--and instead it ruined the whole experience. Ulta needs to fix this broken system and actually make it right for people who leave empty-handed. And let's be real--there's no way I'm the first customer this has happened to. read more

Every time I have been to this location there's been an issue, and no one there seems to know what they sell. I went in looking for an alternative to the lipgloss I usually buy because I knew they didn't carry it, the girl insisted they did and wasted 15mins looking for it instead of helping me find an alternative. Then I went to the register and there was one person checking people out, another on her phone, and a third cutting paper at a register but not helping with customers - there were 8 people in line. Today I went to look for a moisturizer for sensitive skin and I wanted a small, travel, or trial size. No one was around. There were 3 - 4 customers in the store, 3 people at the register, one on her phone, one checking people out and another doing I don't know what but no one was on the floor helping anyone. I did not approach them to ask for help because they didn't even seem to realize I was there and I figured they wouldn't know what to recommend anyway. It's very frustrating and I will continue to drive to Sephora or wait for an online order because this place is a nightmare. read more

I've never had a good experience at this location. They always have workers around the store, who are doing nothing and never offer help, while there is always ONE person at the checkout. Today, I was once again let down by this location. When I called to inquire about their brow bar, I was told that the brow tech is in any day after Tuesday. So I made an appointment at their Benefit Brow Bar for 11:00 am on a Tuesday. I got there five minutes early, and there were a few customers waiting at the Brow Bar to be served, and never were. I decided to go ask someone about the Brow Bar. After I had to go find an employee, they told me that the brow specialist wasn't here yet - no big deal. I continued walking around the store and would check back in a minute. At 11:10 the brow tech entered the store, not apologizing that she was late to MY appointment but instead, told me that appointments are not to be made at 11 because she doesn't come in until then and she needs time to set up. If this is the case, why is this an option on the website and why wasn't I told when I called? This is just one of the many issues this store has from cleanliness, keeping items in stock, and overall customer service. Your store has lost a long-time customer. read more

I loathe going in this store. There are always 15 store clerks walking around doing nothing and never, not once have I been asked if they could help me or thanks for coming in etc. the worst thing about this Ulta location is I have to wait in line forever because they only have one person at checkout. It is maddening that they have 15 walking around doing nothing, yet only one checking people out which means I am always standing, wasting time in a line 6 or more people deep! Ugh! read more

Visited this location today and had a horrible customer service experience. It was so bad, I put my item back and left the store before I could finish shopping. I went in for some make up items that was suggested to me. I am a little new at make up and have only been in Ulta one time prior(different location, very different experience). I asked the sales associate where the product was and she literally pointed across the store and said "over there by the window". When I asked for help finding another item, I received the same response, "over there near the back wall". She did not appear busy and gave the impression I was bothering her. I would have appreciated her walking me over to the section or at least giving clear directions. read more

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the store has a great selection; I can always find something I want. I rarely have to wait to get checked out and I can always count on getting good recommendations from the people working there. read more

Drove an hour on a Wednesday, arrived at 11:02 they were closed, lights were on and tried calling and no one answered. Maybe a note on the door would have been nice, just be respectful of your customers. Thank goodness our locations in Florida are ran better. read more
