He came out to look at them a couple weeks later, which is fine because he was up front and said he was busy. After he came out, I contacted him several times to try to get the estimate. At first he said he was working on it and would get it over to me. I would check in on the status of estimate every 3 or 4 weeks. Finally, the last time, he stopped responding. Three months later, I was able to find a different tree service to complete the work. Not sure if he was not comfortable take these two trees down, since they were leaning over the cabin or maybe it was to small of a job and wasn't worth his time. I am fine with both options, be he never once communicated with me that he did not want the job. He just ghosted me. I did have him cut down some trees and grind some stumps about a year ago and he did great work and reasonably priced, but no idea why he didn't want this job.
