My name is Kathleen, and one day I completed my banking transaction in only a few minutes. I could see through the glass doors that the driver of the Mobility assist vehicle who just dropped me off was still parked out front, head down, taking care of paperwork. I quickly called the dispatch and told them I was done with my banking and was trying to get to the door; I asked the dispatch to please hold the driver so they could take me straight home instead of me having to stand there and wait an hour or so for a different vehicle to be sent out to pick me up. The dispatch person utterly refused to allow me to ride back home in that van, and was so rude and horrible in the manner in which she said it that the Huntington bank employee was shocked at what he could hear her saying to me through my phone. Please note: that's just how elderly/disabled people are treated a lot of the time, you'd be surprised. Anyway, I said okay, okay and I hung up the phone. By then the van had left. So I started walking towards the door; it's really hard for me and I was struggling, but I decided to just try and make it home if I could. I only made it about 20 feet outside of the bank when someone called out to me. It was one of the Huntington Bank employees. He said he was in a back room, but heard from the people up front how I was treated and he didn't like it. You know, this really speaks to the quality and character of the people they hire at Huntington, that they could stand up against something they felt was wrong; especially in this day and age, I couldn't believe it. Everyone in the bank was outraged at how the Mobility dispatcher treated me and they decided they weren't going to allow one of their elderly customers to struggle or suffer just trying to get home. The rep told me they were going to get me home safely, and that's what they did. He carefully helped me onto a seat in the nearby outdoor patio area of a local restaurant, then instructed me to wait for him to come back and bring the car around. It took about 10 minutes; I realized he had to walk to the parking structure where his car was located, through the structure to get to his car, wait in line to check his car out, then drive around to where I was patiently waiting for him. Then he drove me home with a smile. Yeah, my bank actually did that for me. Gotta love those guys at Huntington, praise God!

According to the Ann Arbor News, they'll be ready to open the doors some time in the fall. I'm looking forward to opening my new checking account, because not only does my current bank keep charging me unnecessary fees, but they moved their headquarters right out of the state. Adios, Comerica Bank. I think it's going to be great to do business with a bank that's local, and smaller.

Tried to get a mortgage with the officer in this location, Bradley Everhart. Our downpayment randomly jumped in paperwork from 105,000 to 150,000. My family went nuts, started going over the math. Bradley later admitted it was a typo. Not a great sign when you're having to double-check the numbers of the literal bank, but he regularly lied in emails (comparing text and email chains between Bradley with our Realtor and Title Company was really wild), submitted paperwork days or weeks after receiving, and was regularly only responsive for about one 30 minute segment of every day. Routinely went to branch during business hours to find him not there, would be calling and emailing alongside realtor and title company for hours to no response until right at the end of business hours. Attached copy of text records is between myself and the mortgage officer. ------ Edit: After seeing my review and receiving other evidence of Bradley's conduct, Scott Felts, VP of Mortgage Services for the area reached out, and I'm glad to say was not just immensely apologetic about the service we'd had up to that point, and worked hard and swiftly to correct issues while maintaining good communication. He and another mortgage advisor, Mr. Morfe, helped save my home purchase.

Old National was a decent bank in the beginning but their excessive fees for transfers of saving to checking! Out bank acc was hacked through our cable company the fraud department from Old National said I was in on the fraud because I did a two way verification with a company that I believed to be Netflix. Old national regional Manager Lisa Grimmette from the Saline Michigan felt it was best to end our relationship because of the history of our private account not meeting their expectation of large amounts of money or deposits . Also the Branch mangers can write notes into your personal account and it gets shared with me it wasn't meamy to be shared with me! This bank has no corporate phone number to reach out to them! That's a red flag. Before you deposit your hard earned money into this bank. Please take note that this bank is a bully bank they are NOT trustworthy and this bank has pending legal action going against it. If they do this to all of their blue collar customers they will be out of business. Branch managers can document anything they want ! Not returning money that was stolen . While this account was being investigated for fraud instead of putting a hold on the account and closing it they decided to put all the charges we had incurred and charge us overdraft fees the max amount and extra charges while being investigated for fraud charges Any other bank would have closed the account and put a hold on all the charges. Nope they are part of the problem with the fraud! Avoid this bank at all costs!

None of these were holiday weekends. Today I pulled up to do a transaction at the drive through. There are signs above each area that you drive into to say whether that particular plane is open or closed there were signs that indicated the lane was open. I pulled in and rang the call bell but no one came. Turns out the bank does not open until 10 AM. This was 915. So they really need to adjust those signs to adequately reflect. I am now off to another PNC branch. Ok I hate to see anything happen to this branch, because it would really be much more convenient to go here that to other branches. But I just can't count on it to give me cash when I need it.

Offered to restart the agreement meaning I would do automatic deposit in exchange for erasing the $25 account charge just because I was too busy to set it up. They wouldn't hear of it. It soon became apparent this company does not know how to commit to a deadline as we almost lost this transaction at every step due to their lack of appropriate action. I give the loan officer an "F" for communication and another "F" because they FAILED the entire deal. This was a simple 30 day escrow that took almost 60 days to close!!! We received a "notice to buyer to perform" on the appraisal contingency (meaning if the buyer didn't perform within 2 days the deal was dead) and another for the loan contingency. We then received a "Demand to Close" because this company couldn't close on time and could not give us an estimated closing date! The loan documents had not even been sent out (usually a week or more prior to closing) on the day it was set to close! The Loan officer never informed us there were any problems. I was told by my client this has happened to her on two previous transactions. So far, because of this loan officer, my client had to agree to a $100/day per diem penalty until close of escrow. This cost my client $2500 out of pocket. The lender didn't offer to help cover that cost. By far my worst experience with a mortgage lender. Buyers BEWARE!

My former mortgage company (Flagstar Bank, FSB, 5151 Corporate Drive, Troy, Michigan, 48098-2639) sent the total payoff request to ClearPath Lending (refinance company). The loan was paid off in total, however, I was sent an escrow check from Flagstar Bank in the amount of $1,762.88, 5 days later they put a stop payment on the check after is was deposited into my account, resulting in over drafting my account. Here, I need to emphasize that Flagstar was the company, which requested the total payoff in the first place from ClearPath. So there is no ambiguity when it came to how much was needed in paying off the loan. This occurred even after I had removed the ability from my automatic withdraw set-up. They circumvented the process and took the funds from my bank anyway. They have refused to even address the issue or respond to my documented inquiries. I sent them a certified letter with all of the necessary documentation and allowed the bank to respond within 2-3 weeks. I didn't even get a courtesy reply. The letter was sent on May 18th and still, the bank has yet to respond. There are so many reputable mortgage companies out there, which will take your business, so avoid Flagstar at all costs, you will not be dealing with a reputable bank. BUYERS BEWARE.

Although this bank has never given me any problems before. I was charged overdraft fee's when I was…read moreenrolled in overdraft protection. My account was setup on automatic bill pay and the bank charged a $36.00 fee each time the bills kept trying to draw from the account. The bank would not remove the fees or help me in anyway. I also kept calling customer service because I could not log in to my mobile banking for days even after setting me up with a temporary password. This is absurd the bills didn't get paid and I got charged several overdraft fees for this.

I came here with my brother, who is a PNC customer, to get a document for our family business…read morenotarized. It needed both of our signatures. The snotty notary told us she could notarize my brother's signature but not mine since I am not a customer. After we left I thought of a lot of different things I should have told her, such as "Yes, and I never will be." Also, it happens that I am a notary and there is nothing in Michigan law that says she couldn't notarize my signature so it was just a plain old lack of good will that prevented her from doing it. Good will is something PNC has no concept of and is something money can't buy. Later that day I went to my bank, TCF, to get my signature notarized and I told the friendly notary the story of what happened at PNC. She told me to tell my brother to come and get his signature notarized, no problem, no charge.
