New owners since my last review just before i was deployed for 10 months…read more 2 days after my deployment ended i came here and sadly learned this place is no longer as good as it was. The salad is in a smaller bowl (less salad), the food i had is less tasty, seems like they are skimping on ingredients, quality and taste to keep the price as it was while food costs increased. I order only the stir fry and soup and sslad, not sushi. Food is overcooked for a simple stir fry, brown sauce tastes like it was burned (can one burn a sauce?) Veggies were very overcooked, whimpy not firm or semi firm. No wonder there was a noticeable drop in the number of people here for lunch after church on a Sunday. I can no longer highly recommend this establishment. It's gone from very good or great to YUCK in the 10 months I was deployed. I will NOT be back often but maybe on rare occasion to see if it improves.

The hostess' behind the counter certainly move the crowd to their seats. 30 minutes meant 30 minutes between sitting the patrons to the dining area and to the hibachi area, getting to go orders ready, this place was moving like a well oiled machine. I was very impressed. We were seated in no time, our waitress took our drink order, and our food order as we were sitting on the hibachi side and in no time our cook was outperforming his tricks in front of us. Our waitress was absolutely the best, she was constantly checking whether our drinks were topped off, had a very friendly personality, and the food was cooked to perfection, not to mention, we were not rushed out of our seat, we were able to enjoy a great dinner with a nice atmosphere. Just because you see tons of cars out front do not turn this place away, they moves the lines very fast to get everyone seated and you are taken care of with golden gloves. My husband set to putting on the spare and there was too much damage to the lugs and we needed new ones. It was more than my husband could do on the fly, so we called our road side assistance through Nationwide. They only handle basic tire changes so we had to find someone to do it ourselves (thanks Nationwide!!!). It was after 5pm when we realized that, and most places were closed. I went into the Sheetz to talk to Tif the Manager to tell her what was going on and if it were ok that we stay there until we get help. She was so gracious and understanding and made us feel safe that we could be there as long as we needed. She gave us fountain drink coupons and let us come in and sit in the dining area to get out of the heat (there was a heat wave going on). We had dinner there (which was quite yummy) and freshened up in the very clean bathroom. An employee named Max was also there to assist us and she was very nice also. Luckily we were only two hours from home and our auto tech son and some friends came to rescue us. So, we were there about 6 hours. Knowing that we had a safe place to stay until we found help made the ordeal so much easier to deal with. Thank you Tif and Max AND Sheetz for hiring such good people!! We appreciate the help you gave us. We go to the sheetz in VA where we live all the time and wherever we are when we travel. We always find friendly employees, good food, and clean bathrooms.
