The place can be a little tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the area as it doesn't have a huge sign or anything, but the location is pretty spot on. Anyways got a bottle of wine of course since the plans were to go out at night as well ;) The menus is pretty small and seasonal i'm guessing. Wasn't much to choose from. I started off with a ceviche type appetizer, appealed to me because it had avocado and I hadn't had it for a longggg time when I was so used to having it back home. I'll give it a solid 3 stars, the dish was fresh but needed some other spices added. Next thing I got, totally forgot to take a picture of were these pasta balls I think but that dish was actually super good (4.5 stars)- sorry I can't give more of a description, but it was just a simple veggie spaghetti dish with cheese balls. No dessert, this place was super busy, and their were locals surrounding us which is a pretty good sign- wish they had some more options for food, pretty limited.

Our table had a zucchini flan, ricotta salads and beef carpaccio to start. The flan and ricotta were perfect. The carpaccio was good but missing something to push it over the edge. The risotto and gnocchi were perfect. For our last course we ordered the steak, salmon and the sea bass. The sea bass was the star. I'd go back just for that dish. Between the service and the food it was a perfect last evening in Bologna. Highly recommended.

The adorable decor was welcoming with a kid-friendly atmosphere. Located in the heart of the city, Zoo specializes in healthy food (with an impressive list of vegetarian and vegan options). There were vegan-friendly cakes, bagels, soup, cheese, condiments, and even tofu burgers on the menu. Coffees can be made with rice or soy milk. Meat eaters also have many appealing options. I wasn't hungry but I had a classic Italian macchiato (a shot of espresso with a dollop of foam on top) and it was quite tasty. I sat at a long communal table with cute stools. Tea lovers can find an excellent selection too. While the menu is written in English, the employees didn't speak much of it. We did a lot of pointing as a method of communication, but knowing a little Italian will get you far here. Thankfully we do! Take some time to browse the neat book shop and store in back. Very nice design and interior, this is definitely a very vegan/vegetarian sort of place but they offer a very good lunch menu with two items for 8 euros (basically with a glass of wine and water, your meal average around 10 euros a person). I had the spinach and kale puree with garlic which was really tasty, much more than it sounds. I also tried a fresh salad with avocado which was nice, though I would have appreciated more avocado ;-). My boyfriend got a type of pasta with sauteed veggies, which was really good. The turnaround was quite quick since it's a popular work lunch environment, it was absolutely packed with local Italians who obviously come here quite a bit. Highly recommend if you want a quick/healthy lunch near the train station in Bologna, great find, all thanks to YELP!

Sicilian seafood restaurant , and a very good one at that…read more Mind you, it's also in Bologna, which means you Dan get all your classic Bolognese thingies, but why would you do that? It's seafood you're here for, and Sicilian versions thereof. And boy how're, is it good! Add in a kind and pleasant waitstaff , an owner that's more than happy to chat with you, and an excellent wine list, and the result is happiness! (Oh yeah. Also cannoli, and excellentbknew at that!)
