Came by to do a quick vacuum of my car. Cleared out everything from my car and got it prepped to vacuum knowing that these self-timed machines can are often on a short timer. What i didn't expect is that I was paying $3 for 3 minutes of vacuuming. Not going to break the bank but when 2 sessions still isn't enough time to finish the job on a Prius Compact it makes me want to reconsider coming her again. I really don't enjoy giving negative reviews but this wash was a really poor quality. I only bought the $18 service but I expected it to be at least 95% clean. I live close, so I came home and ended up spending 45 minutes hand washing it! It did not even clean the windows. A waste of $18. On a positive note, the vacuum worked well. read more

First time I came here earlier today because they were the only car wash near me. I used the automatic car wash. First thing is that the machine never gave me the receit even though I pressed that red button to request one. Second, the car was still a bit dirty at the top after I decided to park in one of their detailing lots to see how well the wash did. I had to clean some of the dirty areas on the top myself. I chose the maximum 18$ option and a bit disappointed, but oh well. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: After contacting the number given by Ian E. in response to my review, I was contacted by a woman named Kate. She promptly gave A+ customer service and made things right. I have bumped this up to a 5 star because mistakes and malfunctions can happen without the company being aware, but it is their response and solution to the issue that matters most. I recommend this place to everyone and know that if anything goes amiss, they make it right. Also in regards to some of the low star reviews for this wash because of the equipment cost to detail yourself, it clearly states on the machines how much it is going to cost and for how long. Quick touch less wash got the outside of the car clean. Vacuum bays let me do the same inside. No problems no lines and really easy to use. What more can you ask for. Oh yeah a lower price would be nice. read more

It's a rip off. The sign says they will place a hold on $30 and then only charge you the amount you used. They charged the full 30 dollars. I could have washed my car three times at any other car wash. Don't use a card whatever you do. read more

Quick and easy!!! Used the automatic machine and it cleaned great! Pricing is a little high but for what you get it's worth it

The "pros" of this place are that it's rarely crowded, whatever soap they buy is *great* and will make your ride sparkle, and the location is convenient if your around cap hill. The "con" would be - god damn it's pricey! $12 for a basic soap and rinse. Granted, maybe I could hustle and wash my truck faster, but coming from PDX, the land of $6 self-serve car washes, there's some sticker shock. So sad they got rid of the carpet shampooers! They have a whole new vacuum system that is great when it works but the last two times I've been at least two stalls have had the vacuum non functional. No signs, just trial and error to find one that works. It's also the most expensive wash in Seattle and honestly doesn't do as much as brown bear. Now that they don't have shampooers I'm going to use brown bear for the same wash and vacuum at a better price. read more

It turns out the token system is to prevent theft--I was prematurely judgmental with my comparison to chucky cheese token system. Also, apparently there is an undercarriage option that I missed--sounds like I need to clean my spectacles before I clean my car again... I will say the pressure from the hose is great for rinsing off cars, much better than anywhere I have been in the past. I was excited to return, until I saw my bank statement. They no longer accept tokens, instead they have you swipe your card and charge you $25 for a 5 minute wash when the screen said only $4 will be charged lol I'd rather drive across town in rush hour traffic just to avoid this place and go to Brown Bear. read more

I love how close and convenient this place is - the cost is not what I would call a "deal" but by the time I use gas to drive to Costco - I'm sure the difference would be very small. I have a black Jeep and I LOVE, LOVE keeping it clean and sharp which can be a challenge with the rain, leaves, and BIRDS!!! Ugh. So a quick drive down the street and $8 to $12 dollars later I'm all smiles and didn't even have to get out of the Jeep. Yeah, I'm a fan. read more

I went there on Tuesday 09/28 to use the touch less drive through car wash. After I paid $20, the machine was not working. There was no option for a refund and there was no one around to help. I called the number on the machine and left a voicemail. The automated message said they will get back to me in one business day but they never did. I called again on Friday and left another detailed voicemail but still no response. I checked my bank account and I was changed $20. Stay away from this business. They r a scam !!!! read more

I decided to try a new car wash and saw that the other reviews were pretty good. I feel totally Disappointed by my experience. I pulled through the "automatic" machine and I did pay for the "gold" wash. This was second from the top and had all the features I would want for my car. It was really weak, there was hardly any soap coming out of the nozzle and it did not get real wet at all. The machine did not have a real good hum to it and the normal vibration of the brushes was not present. UPSHOT did not get the car clean. Even the hood still had visible dirt all over it when I left. On the positive side it did not break anything on the car!!! They also have do it yourself "manual" "hand wash", cannot say anything about this because I did not try it. This cost me five dollars more than the one I go to in my home town and did a much worse job of cleaning the car. $$$$ I am looking forward to trying this place again and will also be updating my review at that time read more

This is a review only for the touchless or "touch free" drive thru automatic wash. My review has nothing to do with the self service bays or the soft touch automatic wash. The place looks really clean so if you are into self service bays it doesn't look bad. The automatic touch free wash absolutely sucks. I have tried it 3-4 times and my car is always dirty after and looks terrible once the water dried completely. The best option is also $15 which feels like a rip-off for what you get. Your car would get just as clean driving down the highway in the rain. I can't go here again. I gave it a chance. Looking for another place with modern WaterWizard 2.0 equipment that washes a car proper. read more

Giving this business an updated four star review because of the attentiveness of the ownership. My last review was not as positive because I paid for an automated car wash and my car was not very clean afterwards. The owner quickly addressed my concerns through Yelp, and offered to send me some coupons for my next car wash. Just checked the mail today. Four stars because the value of the coupons is significantly more than what I paid for the not-so-great car wash. And the fact that I heard from the business owner at all was appreciated to begin with. I will definitely be back to try this place again, and if I do not update my review further, you can assume the experience was a positive one. Uncle Ike's seems to like his products a lot. His car wash is overpriced and the service is low quality. You get less than a minute for $1.00. A simple wash can be easily over $20.00 which for a do it yourself wash is shameful. The soap on the foam brush comes out diluted and the triple protector barely put out anything. So tea time. Bit of a read. I came to clean out the back of my truck (which had trash from the homeless throwing it in) and detail the entire thing. One trash can was full when we got there including w a duffle bag from the guy on the other side. And the one I'd barely used. The employee comes screaming at me in front of everyone on a busy Saturday that there's no dumping and I need to leave. My guess is because my truck is older and I don't look well off. Anyways. I love this place, and I particularly love Christopher! I was driving by today and decided spontaneously to get myself a car wash. As I was hunting around for rags, a young man came up and asked if he could help. I explained I was just looking for rags, and he said things were slow; would I like a free "spray down"? I thought: sure! What's wrong with free? Anyway, Christopher ended up cleaning my completely filthy car and when I tried to tip him, he explained he couldn't take tips. I have used this car wash several times. On multiple occasions my credit card was charged an amount behind the listed pricing. I have had to file disputes with my credit card company each time. It seems as though this is a business practice and I would avoid using them or at least ensure you retain a receipt in case you are the lucky winner of this fraud. read more

I love having a drive through in the neighborhood! Customer service is great. I first tried the touchless wash and did not like it because it didn't get everything off my car. I let them know and they the response was immediate and they refunded my money. I went back and used the drive through with brushes and it did the job! I will be a regular! read more

Pricing is absurd. Was charged 30.00 to my credit card for only about 2 minutes on the machine. Lots of BS settings have you running about wasting time. I'm lowering my review in response to the comment from Ian. 1. The bad assumption just because I wrote my review on a weekend, it actually occurred on a weekend. It didn't. It occurred on a Wednesday evening. 2. Ian is essentially buying good reviews by refunding money. My review wasn't about the price, its about the lack of cleanliness and lack of signage to get a receipt for the credit card. 3. Very simply their comments and actions seem to be reactive rather than proactive. When they rolled out a way to get the receipts on the web, they should've made that clear at the station, or even here on Yelp. If a business only cares about my experience if I complain, they don't care about my experience. read more
