Our waitress was very attentive and made sure everything that we ordered came out good, we tried the queso and it was delicious not watery like some places. Love the location, decor style which was a very modern Latin feel to it with a very welcoming patio that had fire torches. We went for a friends birthday and it started off good and our waiter was great no problems. We ordered drinks and for some reason kept getting an extra drink. BTW the margarita swirl and cucumber margarita are worth the taste. Service and atmosphere were good, but the food was horrible. The habanero honey bacon wrapped shrimp was burnt Which over killed the flavor. The salsa was brown and had no taste. Took it home and gave it to my dogs. The black beans were tasteless and served with a dry cilantro rice. Me and my husband are regulars it's our fav place to go for food and drinks we usually have great service but yesterday we waited about 15-20 minutes to put just our drink order in waited again for our drinks to arrive and then Placed our order our food took about an hour to get out. our server never came back to give refills until our food arrived! Meanwhile I saw him just hanging by the kitchen on his phone most of the time. My husband went to the bar to order hisself a drink and the server finally came and said he didn't hear him ask for a drink well if we had been checked on we would have been able to tell him! Drinks, wait extra long to order our food! Had to wait for water! Had to wait for the lemons that he forgot to bring with the water had to wait for the straw that he for got to bring out with the water and the lemons! Had to wait for the salsa the he forgot to bring out the first time we asked him. If I could give a negative number I would. Had a 6:45 reservation, was told by the female manager excuse after excuse why our reservation wasn't showing up in their system even though I showed her our open table confirmation. Once seated, after an hour of waiting on our food and still not getting it, the same female manager came over and told us it was because we ordered chicken tenders for our three year old amongst a million other excuses that all had to do with their internal processes. I've been here a handful of times since it opened and every time we have gotten quick service despite the lunch crowd. I'm picky about my Mexican food because growing up with a Mexican father who has to be a chef, he raised the bar on food. However, Uncle Julio's has consistently served me the perfectly grilled, marinated, and tender beef fajitas. The beef enchiladas are wonderful too but I'm a meat-a-saurus and would rather eat meat instead of carbs. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I like my salsa to be a bit on the spicy side. After all, what's the point of using chiles if it's not spicy? The smoky taste to their house salsa is good but it lacks a bit of kick. The staff has always been extremely friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this location. And if you enjoy adult beverages, definitely try their watermelon margarita. read more

We waited 20 minutes to get acknowledged at the bar, got thrown some chips and salsa and still no one asked me what I wanted. We ended up walking out, the bar staff is rude.
