Came here yesterday to pick up some pizza and a salad for lunch. This place reminds me and is similar to places like MOD and blaze pizza. The price is kind of on the expensive side for the portion size especially for the salad and gelato. We got the medium Jamaican jerk pizza which had good flavor and a tad bit of heat which was nice and then we got the chicken cobb salad that was good and had alot of toppings. We tried the orange push pop gelato that tasted just like the old school checkered orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream. read more

We come here often. Fridays are tough for the staff. Almost all table dirty at 709 pm. Ice machine broken but they sell the warm drink to u anyway without saying anything. Prep station is filthy. We were in town for a soccer game and came across this cute build your own pizza place. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful when ordering as we had never been in before. It seemed like a family business as two of the employees were so nice and friendly joking with each other and the customers. The food was REALLY good! We will be back in a couple weeks for another game and definitely plan to come back. I had the Nashville hot chicken pizza. It is drizzled with hot honey and it was oh so delicious! I had a unique request of getting a pizza with "5 Years" written on it for my fiancé and I as we were also getting married the following week. I called Maddio's and spoke with the manager Tim and asked if they could do this. Tim helped workshop the idea to what would be best and was an absolute gem to have work on the pizza. He congratulated me multiple times and was more than happy to help with the idea. The pizza turned out amazing and he even wrote the nicest message on the box! This is some of the tastiest pizza I've had in this area in a long time. Met my wife and a friend there one evening while they were already sharing some wings. Very good wings and the sauce was tangy and delicious. But the pizza was off the chain. We had a pie for each of us: Mushroom Truffle, Big Max, and Margherita, all well done. YUMM. But the best part was the service. The owner and staff were all over it, making sure we had everything the way we wanted and super friendly. Newly opened in the shopping mall anchored by Sprouts, it was fairly crowded when I arrived for supper at the end of the dinner hour. The parking lot is small and tight; if you drive a large truck or SUV, be forewarned. As I visited on Opening Day +1, I expected some hiccups plus larger than normal crowds, which is what I experienced. The concept has already been brought to M'boro; it is a personal pizza shop where you can order from a list of standard pizzas or custom make your pizza by selecting the toppings. The Margherita and the Mushroom Truffle pizzas were on the standard list and were brought to our table fresh from the oven. Both were thin crust and looked very fresh. They was delicious. Salads, "Foldable" pizzas (open calzones), soup and breadsticks were also on the menu. Desserts included cookies and canoles. Beer is on tap and served by the glass or pitcher. We drove a ways to try this place because it was new and different and let me say it was worth the drive. The staff was friendly and courteous and the food was delicious. We both enjoyed our pizzas and we ate for less than $22.00 which is almost unheard of in this day and age. The location seems out of the way but it is worth the side trip. Uncle Maddio's attempts to create this experience but falls a little short. I am from Chicago so I take my Pizza eating very seriously. Once you've had our deep dish Pizza it's hard to eat anything else but after having Slim & Husky's(Nashville) and Sir Pizza (Murfreesboro), thin crust pizza's have slowly grown on my taste buds. Where Uncle Maddio's Pizza falls short is that the crust doesn't cannot hold the excessive amount of cheese (grease) and ingredients so it all slides off the crust and you are left eating your crust separately from the ingredients. Pizza is supposed to be a melding of crust and toppings so that you can experience the different textures and flavors all at once. Took advantage of one of their specials last night to feed our family of 4. It was a Family Meal for $25 which included a 16" CYO pizza, entree salad, cheese bread and 2 cookies. Order was easily placed online and did not require a registration or sign up like other sites. When I arrived to pick up the order, I could tell they were super busy with orders BUT my order was ready on time and it was correct. I would have given 5 stars but it wasn't the greatest. Pizza was great but salad was just okay and cheese bread is just a personal size cheese pizza. However the value for the money was excellent. Will probably get this special again as it was plenty to feed us and everyone enjoyed it. Will definitely consider ordering online again maybe for just a personal pizza too. As with any pizza, it would have been great fresh out the oven and on the table but COVID-19 wouldn't allow it. read more

If I'm paying extra for a topping I just expect for some what good amount. They would get a handful and plop it on there and put some back. Let me start by saying that i was born and raised in New York and lived in Pennsylvania and Chicago. I know pizza ! Let me tell you about Uncle Maddio's pizza. First thing we noticed about the restaurant is how clean it is and that's very important. Second is the staff who are exceptional at customer service. Now let's get to the food ! I ordered the pizza and Greek salad and for dessert the Cannoli. The pizza looked great when brought to the table which doesn't mean anything. But in this case the pizza tasted as good as it looked. The crust had the perfect consistency and crunch. Toppings were fresh and plenty of cheese. The sauce had very low acidity ( no heartburn) and great taste. The Greek salad was amazing everything is fresh. Now when it comes to the Cannoli I am very hard to impress but with being said it was ok not my Nona but I'd get it again. I don't give many good reviews because many restaurants cut cost with cheaper ingredients and Jack up prices. I'm very impressed with the store manager and especially the staff. First time visiting this pizza joint and looking forward to going there again! We went on Saturday afternoon and grabbed a small pizza and breadsticks and soft drinks. We enjoyed the breadsticks and the alfredo sauce that you get with it was the bomb! I really liked the pizza toppings, it was really fresh and there was plenty of toppings on it. The prices were comparable for the area when it comes to pizza. The restaurant was semi clean a few tables needed to be wiped down and I did see a cob web on the light fixture that could have been knocked down though. Other than that, the décor and vibe of the restaurant was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us and didn't seem to be bothered when we asked about the sauces more in depth.
