Hiring AC as our contractor for 2 bathrooms, demo, framing/finishing, floor refinishing, plumbing, electrical, tile, project management, and CAD and cleanup restoration was a great value. We're happy with the results and feel great. AC made lots of suggestions we hadn't considered which turned out to be very helpful. At the same time they consulted with us and digested our direction very well. The BUILDERtrend app was also a great way to communicate during construction. Jozef even walked me through a couple of additional items that made a huge difference in the remodel including painting the cabinets instead of replacing (I don't know how they did it but they turned out perfectly), moving a cabinet for better sight lines, making a waterfall edge to update the counter, and putting a light in the newly installed stand up shower in the bathroom. All of the work is extremely high quality including some of the best tile work I have seen (and there was a lot of it). Dave was honest, trustworthy and upfront from the start. There was no sugar coating just to get the bid. He put thought into the project and cost aspect. What sealed the deal for us was his suggestion of additional electrical outlets for each daughter. His forward thinking was impressive. With all construction projects, dirt, dust and chaos are expected. We resigned to live that way. Dave surprised us though. A plastic door with a zipper was installed at the beginning of the demolition process. There was no dust and dirt throughout our home. We weren't constantly climbing around tools and construction materials. After each day's work, Dave cleaned up the work area.
