No hate... but where these 5 stars coming from? I get no joy out of posting bad reviews, so bare with me. I had this place bookmarked literally for years, had been wanting to try their Pastrami Pizza. Like all ny reviews, it is unfiltered non-bias based in just the food. I assume most of these reviews are from locals with nostalgia vibes that grew up eating here? Came in on a weekday for work lunch, right around noon. At one point was the only customer waiting for their pick-up order. Girl at the register was nice, paid for my phone to-go order and waited about 5-10min over the original ETA pick up time. I ordered the Pastrami Pizza, was sooo disappointed. Taste was off, it was cheezy, just lacks character. The pickles and mustard did not save it. Maybe its the low quality pastrami they use, or the way the pastrami is prepared? Couldnt figure it out. Now the wings. Not good. Dry, lack seasoning, lack flavor. Ranch was decent, the watered down but yummy kind you get form Tams or hood burgers. This place has been around for a while, maybe surviving in their usual customers? Not sure. read more

Came across this restaurant as the name caught my eye. My Aunt Red passed away the day before I drove past so I had an instant interest! My family and I ordered a special 1 large pizza, 10 wings, large salad, and sodas for around $63 (don't hold me to the price bc I added tip to the total)‍ Salad came out first we added mozzarella cheese! This was a large salad guys, they gave us 1-2oz ramekin of dressing for a large! I asked for another dressing since 2oz of dressing clearly isn't enough especially when you add cheese. I was told there would be a .50 cent charge for each additional dressing. I TOTALLY get dressing isn't free to make and I support charging for extra but I ordered a LARGE salad. The girl told me "that's how much we give with a large salad" my question back was how much dressing do you get for a small salad? Like come on...I'm not asking for additional dressing I'm asking for what should rightfully come with the salad. This encounter just irked my core. The pizza came next and quicker than expected! It was hot fresh from the over and light in texture. One of the better pizzas I have had in awhile! Very good! Then came the lemon pepper wings....not what I expected! Large in size and extra crispy as requested,but the sauce tasted like dishwater! Not at all matching the appearance of the wings as they LOOKED amazing but the flavor of the sauce was not at all enjoyable. Lemon pepper wings are typically a dry rub, not so much a sauce. I really tried liking something different but will NOT ever order those again. All in all I would dine again, but for only pizza! read more

One of the employees, Alex, came across as rude and uninterested, responding in a way that felt dismissive and unwelcoming. It honestly felt like helping customers was a burden rather than part of the job. Situations like this make the whole visit uncomfortable and leave a negative impression. Staff behavior plays a huge role in whether people return, and this kind of attitude pushes customers away. We ordered up 3 pizzas to celebrate a birthday. A large "The Works" was absolutely delicious. We order this pizza often and it consistently very good. Plenty of toppings. A Medium Veggie Pizza. This is also a delicious pizza. Wonderful flavor and plenty of ingredients. Then a Medium Pepperoni pizza plenty of pepperoni and was very good. We've been buying pizza here for a few years. We love the pizza! The prices are higher than most places but for the taste, we continue to be loyal customers! The pizza tastes like delicious quality! The pastas are great! The woman at the counter is always friendly. Well packaged food. We love the garden salad. Always fresh. Unfortunately - a turn off is the amount of ranch you get for a Large salad. 1 TINY plastic container! Extra charge for any extra. After spending a lot of money here on even small orders (iykyk) I think a complementary second ranch for a Large salad is not unreasonable. To be charged for such a small things seems There is also a small salad on the menu. I assume it comes with 1 tiny ranch. Same amount as a large? Make it make sense. I'm going to start off by stating that this place has some steep prices. A little high for pizza in my opinion regardless of how amazing it is, therefore it's a mention. It doesn't stop me from ordering here it's unfortunately something I have to buy when I have a little extra pocket change. The food is amazing though. I've been coming here for many years and I've never had an issue with the food. I've done both dine in and takeout and have had exceptional experiences always. It's always nice to be able to enjoy the ambiance during game times as well. I understand it's a local small pizzeria as well so the service can be a little slow, but definitely worth the wait. Oh good pizza here. You walk in and the first thing you notice is the smell of food. It smelled so good. I ordered a pep, sausage and onion pizza. The sauce was very good and toppings were plentiful. The crust was nice and fluffy! I added a order of garlic knots which was some of the best i had. As far as parking goes, there was a lot of street parking and have a lot on the side. I pass by this place all the time when I'm going to the 99 cent store or I'm on my way to Downey and I've always marveled about this place and I finally took the time to visit here with one of my friends. The employees were nice and helpful when we were deciding what to order. She recommended us to get the half-and-half and I'm so happy she did because we got to experience two different flavors in one pizza. The pizza we ended up choosing was a medium 14" Carnivore and BBQ Fried Chicken. It took them some time to make the pizza so we were excited when they finally brought it over to our table. The pizza was absolutely delicious! The Carnivore is basically a meat-lovers pizza. All of the meats from that half were delicious. The BBQ Fried Chicken portion was also tasty as well. I know most pizza places have BBQ Chicken, but I like how this place has bbq FRIED chicken. For the pizza as a whole, they put a lot of cheese on the pizza, they weren't stingy with the toppings and the crust was soft. Overall, my experience here was excellent. The pizza was high-quality all around and the service was good. A medium size pizza is PERFECT for two people - no bigger, no smaller. The only thing I'd say is that the pizza was a bit pricey for a medium (14" with 10 slices), being a little over $20 but it was worth it. The young lady that helped me was a doll, extremely sweet and accommodating. The pizzeria was clean and smelled of Italy . Prices are perfect for the wonderful QUALITY of the ingredients they use! Since we had ordered wings and onion rings I asked for ketchup and ranch and they charged us 50 cents for ketchup and another 50 cents for ranch. Very petty charges and unnecessary. I had to charge a dollar on my card. My son wanted a chocolate chip cookie but it ended up going in the trash because they had them in the same container as pumpkin spice and other flavored cookies and it did not taste like a chocolate chip cookie.
