Unfortunately, I must leave a low rating because wheelchair accessibility was very poor. The guide was exceptional and so apologetic. But, this was a teaching moment for her as this was her first time locking in and securing a wheelchair properly on the shuttle. For some of the trips between wineries, I had to hang-on to my seatbelt that was attached to the floor in order to avoid tipping over in my chair. The first trip, I had to have my partner ( who has a very bad back) bend over and hang on-to the rigid frame chair to prevent me from falling forward or backwards. The bus ride was very, very, hot due to the air conditioning vent being at the back of the bus avoiding the designated wheelchair spot altogether. Overheating with a spinal cord injury can require emergency medical assistance because people cannot regulate their temperature. All of these issues should must be rectified as soon as possible especially as you are advertising as a wheelchair accessible shuttle service. Drivers should, at the very least, have practical experience, and extensive training for assisting people with disabilities in a wheelchair...and for this reason only, my review is a 2 out of 5 stars. This is unfortunate because everything else about the tour was exceptional, and all of the wineries had accessible ramps and washrooms. The Okanagan Wine region definitely does not disappoint! First time in Kelowna, this was a gift to my partner for his birthday! Worth every penny! Judy was our driver/tour guide, and she was excellent. Knowledgable, funny and the woman knows her wine! Went to 4 different winery's plus lunch. A total of almost 6 hours start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone who, like us, loves wine tasting and doesn't want the hassle of driving. read more

Uncorked is a first-rate company and the tours are excellent. I highly recommend them -- especially for solo travelers. What a great way to get to know wine country and sample wines at multiple vineyards without having to worry about driving. I was traveling solo through Kelowna when I found Uncorked online. I registered online a few days ahead and received a call to confirm. I received a follow up call the weekend of the trip as a reminder and to confirm my pickup location. I had signed up for the Lakeshore tour which normally is from about 5 hours and costs about $100/person. Herb, our tour guide, was fantastic. Not only did he have a great personality, he was also quite knowledgeable about wine as well as the region. Additionally, he took a million pictures of us throughout the day to share with us afterwards. This was quite a sweet gesture. Additionally, since we were such a small group, he improvised on our tour a bit and matched up wineries to our personalities. At the end of it, we got to experience 5 great wineries as well as a goat cheese farm and a brewery. Herb went above and beyond, and I think our tour ended up being longer than scheduled as a result. Absolutely great service and well worth the money spent. Not only do I recommend this tour, but I will undoubtedly set up another one when I'm back in Kelowna this fall. read more

My sister and I had an awesome time on our tour with Uncorked. Our guide was Ryan and he was hilarious and personable from the get-go, playing games with us and getting to know us, which really made the tour that much more fun. We went to 5 different wineries (even sneaking an extra one in because we had a little more time), an urban winery, a brewery and a distillery. Going to Mission Hill was awesome but getting to hear the stories behind the smaller wineries in the Okanagan Valley was really wonderful and seeing our tour guide greet each person we met as if they were old friends was incredible. We also appreciated the special stop for gravol that Ryan made just for us. :) I will definitely be recommending Uncorked to anyone I know headed into the Kelowna area and would love to go on some of their other tours. I went on the winery tour with Uncorked last weekend for my future sister in-law's bachlorette. This tour was the highlight of our trip and our driver/tour guide Steve was a big factor in this! He went above and beyond ensuring we had a great trip. He was hilarious and we enjoyed getting to know him. The tour itself was also amazing. We went to five very different wineries, each with their own vibe which allowed us to get a full experience. i thoroughly recommend uncorked for your wine tour needs in kelowna. herb was our guide and he was fantastic! personable and humourous, he spent the day driving us around to 5 great wineries, a brewery and a distillery. what made this especially great is that we were only booked to tour the wineries, but the other three ladies on the tour were scheduled in for a tour which also included the brewery and distillery so he brought us along with him too. a really nice gesture, and a wonderful day out! he also took photos of us on his slr camera every step of the way. he has promised us a link to these photos and we hope to receive them soon so that we can relive the great day we had in the beautiful kelowna sunshine :) read more

Went on the winery tour with Uncorked for my stagette. Our tour guide was Steve, and his wonderful wife Alayne, joined us at each of the wineries. I have nothing but positive things to say about Steve and Uncorked: 1) Steve has a passion for this and it shows. His enthusiasm is contagious; everyone at the wineries knows him well. And he managed to get me hooked up with some extra treats during the tour! 2) The tour itself was amazing. We started off at Mission Hill; most of us in the group hadn't really dipped into wines. The educational experience was great and we got to apply what we learned to the next wineries. 3) I liked that the tour gave us a look at big and small wineries. Can't say enough good things. From pick up to drop off our guide Steve went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience possible.
