The best quality about this medical centre is the resident family physician. Dr. Mary El Sabawy…read moreremembers your medical history even details of your last visit with just a brief review of her records. She has that personal touch and warmth about her. She knows you and your family by name. She listens and tries to understand where her patient is coming from. She suggests options and promptly provides referrals to specialists as needed. She puts a cap on her client list so this clinic isn't like other medical centres which feels like a long queue to a box office movie. Best of all, she'd always opt for natural methods of wellness and will only resort to prescription meds as a last resort. This clinic had a pharmacy. There's also a huge private parking lot.

life labs southdown missusagua unless you have an appointment do not go there!…read morewhy? because as a 'walk in' expect your way time to be between 0ne to one and a half hours ..if you are lucky that no booked appointment turn up late ! I was there 3 times and each time I was told "it will be at least an hour to one an half before you at seen and we give preference to those who have booked appointments" which fair enough but why doesn't the location have this on the website or on a recorded message? To be honest they seem short staff all the time as the receptionist also does bloodwork and often you are left at the counter until they come back 15 minutes at least ! so be aware find another location if you are a 'walk in' and save time going to Southdown for nothing !

The maternity ward staff are extremely rude. I'm truly disappointed. They should show more empathy…read moreand compassion to new parents, already overwhelmed with a new baby. They are also lazy and treat no requests with priority. If you don't love your job, find another career. I'd never come back here. I didn't even leave, because I was concerned about my family being neglected and disrespected. You need to do surveys from the family's, do staff performance evaluations and hold them accountable. My daughter had a baby a Cortelluci hospital in Vaughan 3 months ago and it was absolutely amazing experience in all units.

MENTAL HEALTH RED ALERT! STAY AWAY! RUN! AVOID this hospital at all cost…read more On Aug 5, 2025, Toronto Police 22nd Division took my severely delusional schizophrenic son from prison to this hospital emergency on his release from the prison. He was arrested and imprisoned because he had assaulted his older brother and me, his mother, while medicating himself with crystal meth. Almost three months time passed since that attack while he remained imprisoned without any treatment. The mental health nurses and the on-call emergency psychiatrist were all very disrespectful, rude, and angry with me. The psychiatrist literally told me and i quote "As the on-call emergency psychiatrist, my job is to admit and discharge patients." On my insistence, he kept my son overnight in the emergency mental health unit but released him the next morning before 10 AM without any assessment or treatment. My son and I walked out of the hospital together. My son is as much delusional as he was if not more delusional at the time he was arrested and imprisoned. I am helplessly watching my son being killed by the government that is eagerly punishing mentally ill people while denying them the treatment and care they deserve.

I had multiple derm issues and she was completely unhelpful with both and I never heard back from a clinic and she did not have any recommendations for other Dermatologists she could refer me to. I felt dismissed and like she cared about money over the care of her patients and I would strongly warn anyone looking for a family doctor to be cautious.
