The pizza fries were thoroughly enjoyed by my sister - especially the pepperonis. The fires were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is perfect in my book. One thing I loved was how the staff balances the workload. Instead of one server being assigned to one section, all the servers check on all the tables. I've heard great things about Underground Pizza and was excited to try it! We ordered via delivery which came from DoorDash. We ordered a pizza with mushrooms and sausage and Buffalo wings. The wings were very good and had a nice kick. Also enjoyed the pizza. I appreciated the restaurant included instructions for reheating if needed. The pizza was tasty. Loved the sauce and the toppings and the crisp edges. Could have used a bit more cheese in my opinion, but will order extra next time (also just really love cheese haha). First time dining in but not the first time eating here! I enjoy their pizza. The UPC Classic is your classic cheese pizza and it was so good! You can tell a good "pie" restaurant, in my opinion, by how good or bad their standard cheese pizza is lol. Ive been to this establishment several times in the past. Due to the previous experience being good I decided to dine here. Parking anywhere downtown especially the inner harbor on the street is very limited; and the parking garages are insane at times. I found parking and made way to this establishment at the Power Plant. There was a Flippino festival going on at Power Plant as well. When we entered the establishment, we were immediately seated. Seating is only at high tops or the bar. We started off with a couple drinks, old bay wings and cheesesteak sliders. The drinks were ok, not 5 star rating. The cheesesteak sliders were okay as well. We ordered Old bay fries which came out great. After digesting the wings, sliders and fries we ordered the Peppers and Onions pizza with added spinach. The pizza came out very light. Ive had this pizza previously and it was toasted and not doughy. There was very little cheese. The pizza disappointed. So after all, I was very disappointed with the choice of this establishment today. Absolutely nothing but the friendly attentive staff was a plus. The staff were beyond attentive. I always find myself craving the crab dip pizza every once in a while, it's so worth it. They put a lot of crab on it and the flavor is really good. I'm a big fan of the Detroit style crust. It's a little hard to find parking since it's inside power plant, so sometimes I just order delivery. Yumm this was such a good find for Detroit style pizza. I ordered online and picked it up, a seamless process. No hate to the location but the parking situation was a little rough. This place is always so good. Came for happy hour for a friend's birthday. We have been dying to try the crab Rangoon pie and we finally did. And it definitely did not disappoint! The honey old bay wings were good however I don't really like my wings fried hard like that . The elote fries were okay. I ended up switching out my drink order from the Dirty Shirley (too sweet) to the Cosmo and Wanda. We moved to a table as the temperatures dropped and it got chilly by the bar since the door was open. We ordered 3 half pizzas so we could try different ones. I am a (new) massive Underground Pizza fan. Their Detroit style pizza is so good! Usually I am not a huge dough fan, but their crust is light and crunchy and I enjoy it just as much as I like their sauce and cheese. While in town for work my husband and I were craving a late-night dinner, something satisfying but not fast food. I found this spot on Yelp, and wow, every review was absolutely spot on. It was easy to find; we rode scooters from our hotel and were warmly greeted by a friendly young man who seated us right away and gave a helpful overview of the menu and happy hour specials. Recently tried the Crab Rangoon Pizza and whoa... Absolutely blown away. You know some places make crazy pizza for wow factor and it's mid, but not this place. Underground Pizza loads it with Crab Dip with every bite. Along with the cheese and crispy edges - this may very well be my new go-to flavor. Situated near Port Discovery, this place is a small but busy place serving great food. The employees are nice and welcoming. Our order had old bay fries, garlic parm old bay fries, honey old bay wings, honey lemon pepper wings and 3 pizzas: tiger king, spo, and a flag pizza. The drinks were watermelon like crushes and orange crushes but with tequila instead of vodka. Everything was a 10/10. They did not miss. They have food and drink specials throughout the week. Also dont sleep on the mozz sticks of the baltimore chicken box I havent had a bad bite from underground pizza yet. Buyer Beware -- Completely Broken System & Unacceptable Customer Service This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've had with any restaurant. I placed an order for curbside pickup, which was clearly offered and selected during checkout. Upon arrival, I followed instructions and texted the number provided. What I did not know--and what was never communicated--is that there are two locations, and I had unknowingly texted the wrong one. That alone could have been easily resolved. Instead, it turned into a 40+ minute ordeal. For 15-20 minutes, I was met with dismissive and rude responses from the Towson location, repeatedly telling me they were "slammed" and that I needed to come inside--completely ignoring the fact that I had paid for curbside service. At no point during that time did anyone say, "You've reached the wrong location--here's the correct one." That should have been the first response, especially if they know another location offers curbside. Meanwhile, the actual Baltimore location--the one I ordered from--never contacted me at all. No "your order is ready," no confirmation, no attempt to bring the order out, nothing. I sat outside for over 40 minutes with zero communication from the correct location and nothing but attitude from the wrong one. When I asked for a refund after realizing the situation was clearly broken, I was again met with resistance and unprofessional behavior. It only got worse from there. After leaving a review, the Baltimore location manager, Evan, reached out--not to resolve the issue--but to deflect responsibility, dismiss the experience, and insist their system works. It absolutely does not. This failure happened at multiple levels: * No clear differentiation between locations * No proactive communication for curbside orders * No internal awareness or guidance when customers contact the wrong location * No accountability when things go wrong Instead of addressing any of this, I experienced what felt like gaslighting and blame-shifting, as if this entire breakdown was somehow my fault. To make matters worse, after I clearly stated I no longer wanted communication and would resolve the charge through my bank, Evan continued to email me multiple times, which crossed the line into harassment and complete disregard for basic customer boundaries. At the end of all of this, I never received my order. What I did receive was wasted time, unnecessary frustration, and consistently poor treatment. If you're going to offer curbside service, you need a system that actually functions: * Notify customers when their order is ready * Provide clear, accurate contact information * Train staff to handle simple issues with basic professionalism None of that happened here. This experience reflects a serious breakdown in both operations and leadership. Based on the attitude, lack of accountability, and overall handling of this situation, I will not be returning. Considering the space is small with hightop and bar seating only, they made sure guests were taken care of. For my first visit, I chose the Farmer's Bounty salad, and the chicken parm pie (full). The salad was perfectly simple and delicious. Packed with spring mix, crispy apple slices, candied walnuts, slivers of red onion, ample morsels of goat cheese, fresh mandarin, raisins, all enrobed in apple cider vinaigrette. Nothing beats the balance of the flavors in this salad when prepared the right way. Underground did this well. The chicken parm pie was out of this world ridiculous yum. The full size serves up 8 hefty slices; the signature sauce, crisp chicken, and mozzarella ignites flavors unmatched. Paired with iced cold Natty Boh, and it's euphoria. If you love Detroit style pizza, yeah... this is up there with Jets on the other side of the river for me. Thankfully, the Underground is not too far.
