As a wedding photographer myself who has photographed many weddings, and looked through countless photographers for my friends weddings, stop looking, you need Evgenia!! The things I look for in a photographer are - Do you feel something from the photos? Can you feel the love, the joy, the joke your uncle cracked about having 10 kids? - Are the colors timeless? When you look at your wedding photos 10 years from now will you still love how they look? This is personal preference, but in my opinion Evgenia nails the colors and tones in her photos, especially the skin tones (If you're Asian, sometimes the skin tone comes out orange if a photographer doesn't know to correct for it) And after working with Evgenia I have so many things to rave about! - Her attention to detail- she'll spot that sunlight is hitting one person's face in a group photo and correct for it - She's on your side!! When you're roasting under the sun, and family members from both sides are asking to take photos with you and your "kitty timer" of tolerance for more photos goes off, Evgenia can recognize it and redirect the madness away - She's a pro dress fluff-er to make the train drape perfectly - She's there to tell your story through photos, document the candid, but also gives great instructions and posing cues - So very helpful. I had a day of request of taking instax film photos throughout the day/ceremony and Evgenia and Alina went- no problem, and knocked it out of the park - She has great vibes. I spent 10 hours over 2 days with her, and you just feel like you're in excellent hands. - The turn around time for the photos are crazy fast. Coming from Austin, TX where the standard delivery of a gallery is 4-6 months, being able to have the full gallery of almost 1000 photos within weeks, and being able to print off thank you cards with a photo, so amazing.

Carlos met us at Xel-Ha and was very patient with our family of 16. He went well over the agreed time and did it with a smile. She knew about the photo shoot but did not know I would propose during it. Diego and I had agreed to a signal to each other so we would both know the best time for me to pop the question and he captured the exact moment beautifully. He even captured 2 whales in the ocean behind us right after she said Yes. We absolutely love the photos!! We had done a photo shoot before and that prior one did not feel natural and the pics were not very good. Diego made us very comfortable and he was able to gently suggest several scenes for us (not poses) that turned out great in the pics. All the advance planning was done via email - I did not meet Diego until it was time for the photo shoot at the Puerto Vallarta Marriott. During the planning phase, the Chas Studio team was very responsive and prompt with my several questions. They also provided some great recommendations for PV restaurants that I made advance reservations for so we could celebrate in Zona Romantica during our trip. I wanted a surprise bottle of Champaign and 2 glasses - Diego offered to pick that up himself but I had the hotel pack it in a bag that Diego covertly picked up before he met us so that my GF would be surprised with it after I proposed. He carried that bag around with all his equipment for the first half of the session without complaining. My clients wanted some high quality "final" images to send to their families to showcase my work. Needless to say I wanted the best in business and I came across her work. The first photo I ran into was this breathtaking photo she took in Sedona. Needless to say I was blown away at her ability to work with natural light and with color. I didn't know how she managed to come up with these photos, but I hope to someday put her work all over my walls in my home. I met her a few years ago in Los Angeles. She helped me with a few clients (who were blown away with her skill) and her affordable rates. She was extremely cheerful and professional, and gave each of my clients exactly what they were looking for, trim and responsive work with a fast turnaround time.
