Overlooking the river, this place is ideal to visit in the summer. There is ample parking in the car park at the back of the place, as well as a large open car park directly opposite the front of the building.
Inside, it's a mix of olde-worldy crossed with contemporary decor. The tables are spaced apart with plenty of room, and there is a nice conservatory area at the front of the pub, as well as tables outside. At the back of the place is a small childrens' play area.
The menu is good - something to suit everyone. The food is excellent, and good value for money. There are free crayons and colouring pads, to keep the kids entertained.
One of my favourite places to go for a meal. Be warned, though - it gets very busy at Bank holidays and weekends, so it is sometimes best to book a table beforehand. read more
