My employer uses this company for uniforms it is the worst most unprofessional uniform service I have ever seen it has been 5 months since my uniforms were ordered it took 3 1/2 months for them to show up (wrong size) and they kept coming to the wrong building. Our company has had several uniform providers in the past several years. Finally, a Unifirst rep walked through our door and we made the move. Excellent service. Like other uniform services, things are occasionally misplaced, shorted, etc. The difference is Unifirst always makes it right as soon as possible. I worked here for a while, sadly my dad passed away tragically my first week of employment. I called everyday to make sure it was ok that I wasn't going to be in, every time I called I was told "take as much time as you need" , and "we are so sorry "! No one said anything about the missed time and seemed happy to have me back! I missed 1 week! My 3mth review came and I was told I would not be getting a raise because of the time that I took off when my dad died! (Thanks for throwing it in my face!) No big deal, I would try again in 3 more months! About 2 months later I found out I was pregnant, I was so happy, they were not! I got really such and my doctor pulled me from work! Unifirst never called to tell me that I had been fired because of this, actually I didn't even know that my insurance had been canceled until I got a letter in the mail saying that all of my benefits had been canceled due to termination of employment! Not knowing then what I know now, I went on with my own business. But i know now that in New York State I could have sued then for firing me due to pregnancy! All in all, this place is a horrible place for employment. They lie thru their teeth making the place seem so great to work for... They LIE! read more
