About 90% of the tables were taken up by people working on their laptops, definitely more of a work-and-sip vibe. I'm not usually an iced latte person, but since it was hot out and already my second coffee of the day, I figured I'd switch things up. It wasn't packed with ice (which I appreciated), but it leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The ambiance was lively with music playing, and everyone seemed happily in their own zone.

Ambiance: Coffee shop/Casual Modern and minimal with a clean, aesthetic. It definitely leans more toward a focused work spot than a social hangout. But just note, there aren't any outlets, so come with a charged laptop or bring a notebook. Coffee: High-quality and well-crafted. Their lattes and mochas are both excellent--smooth, rich, and clearly made with attention to detail. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality reflects that. Definitely a good pick if you're picky about your coffee or appreciate a well-pulled espresso. Parking: Street parking only, and since it's in a high-traffic area, it can take a little patience to find a spot. Worth the effort, though, if you're nearby. Overall: A solid choice for good coffee and a productive solo work session. It's not the coziest spot for chatting with friends, but if you're after a focused setting, this is a great go-to.

If you love drinking, smelling, or thinking about coffee, you're at the right place. Not to mention a catchy slogan: sexy fresh coffee. Unincorporated Coffee Roasters is a corner coffee shop in Eagle Rock, LA. They're roasting sexy fresh coffee every day of the week and located in Colorado and Eagle Rock blvd. I have walked and driven passed by this coffee shop for quite sometime now but never had the chance to visit until now. I have been to their Altadena location two years ago. I arrived on a sunny Spring Friday afternoon to grab a cold drink. I was perfunctorily greeted by two young female baristas. I ordered an Iced Green Mango Oolong Tea. It was just bloody decent in taste/flavor. UCR's contemporary interior design was truly an eye catcher especially the light fixtures and natural light. Moreover, its indoor was very spacious and has plenty of wooden tables and chairs. This store sell a plethora of goods such as coffee bean bags, merch, tote bags, lil honey jars, and tumblers. Drink prices were competitive and economically fair. Service was spot on. Vibe was ridiculously chill. Plenty of street parking. Overall, I had a good experience and will try their hot drinks next time.

Cute place. Love the vibe- neighborhood coffee place where you can cop a squat and work / study, or just meet up with friends. (They also have outdoor seating for you and your furry baby.) Ordered a Vanilla latte with MACADAMIA milk - pretty good. Will be back 9 out of 10 for me! Enjoy.

Flat white was on point. Service was super thoughtful and inviting. Just like seeing old friends again. Pet parent friendly and got to meet some amazing four legged babies. Especially Archie.

Ugh what can I say, I'm a sucker for exceptional coffee and even more, for customer service. I had the most amazing experience in a while: I was greeted with exceptional customer service. I'm a grumpy person but I must say I couldn't avoid the customer care. I didn't wait too long for my order even though there were three people in front of me. There's plenty of parking out in the streets. The inside was very clean and they had good music. Late was delicious.

I remember when this place used to be Swork, so I was curious to see what the new vibe was all about. Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed with the coffee. I paid $8 for an iced mocha that I couldn't even finish--the coffee tasted oddly sour, almost like day-old brew. A few sips in and my stomach started feeling queasy. It seriously hurt my heart (and wallet) to pour it out but I had no choice. :( That said, the baristas were super chill and friendly and the ambiance is still cool--definitely a good place to hang out or work. But for that price point, I expected way better coffee quality.

This place is simple perfection. A small piece of peace. Everyone is extremely welcoming. The food was tasty and the music was so great. Definitely bring friends and just enjoy.

Unincorporated to go cup vs Found
    brian b.

I usually make my espresso or cappuccino at home but sometimes I'm out of beans and I have to pop out to a coffee shop. This was the case today. My usual go to Found was closed and I decided to try Unincorporated. The folks are friendly and I like the vibe. I got a 2% Cappuccino. The price vs Found is a dollar more. The flavor is more robust vs the smoother taste to Found. Maybe found is putting a little more milk in there's because the found shot has to be the same standard size but the found cup size is bigger. That's not a knock on either it's just a good to know thing if you want more of a foamy smooth taste or you want more of that coffee flavor punching through. My star knock is on the price of the cappuccino but I'll give them a big thumbs up on the variety of whole bean coffee they sell and they beat Found on the price of their roasted whole beans.

    Cream cheese? Nah, just vibes.

This place is fine if you need a quiet spot to work or study, but if you're looking for good food, great drinks, and solid service, look elsewhere. Three craft lattes, a basic bagel, and a cinnamon roll came out to $35.50, and the tip suggestions start at 18%. The drinks were lukewarm and mediocre--my daughter's matcha was gritty, and both the mocha latte and Phat Bear latte were just okay. What really put me off was the service. The waitress was hard to hear, drinks weren't labeled, and when we asked the barista which drinks were ours, she barely responded and acted annoyed--especially with multiple unlabeled drinks sitting out. On top of that, the cashier was sweeping right in front of us while we waited for our order. Seating is also awkward, with single people taking up tables for groups. With so many options in this city, the attitude alone is enough for me not to return. With all said-support local and tip.

    Paco's Delight & Espresso

FINALLY tried unincorporated after hearing about it from a friend for years. They have multiple locations - this one is a cozy little spot in the corner with lots of street parking available. The person taking our order was very kind, personable, and informative. I usually get a regular latte, but they recommended one from the "sexy" side of the menu & it was delicious! "Paco's delight". Delightful, indeed! Not too sweet. If you're in the area, must pop in.

Little coffee shop on the corner. They have metered parking in front as well as free street parking around the corner. I ordered a mocha with macadamia milk. Coffee was good - a bit small for the price. My friend got a matcha and did mention it was grainy in the beginning.

Coffee is ok. Breakfast burritos is 3/10. Not fresh. A microwaved breakfast burrito for around 15 dollars. Not the vibe.

Went there before working pretty early and had a very pleasant cortado. Was in and out pretty quick and the cortado hit the spot.

What makes this place stand out is Joe Han, the U.S. Brewers Cup semi-finalist. You can really see the care he puts into each drink, and he personally brings your order to your table. Tried three drinks: -A Goose's Dream - light, citrusy, and really refreshing. -Freddo - creamy and bold, slightly heavy on the vanilla syrup but still balanced. -Moim Matcha - high-quality matcha, smooth and clean with just the right amount of sweetness. I wanted to try the sem-final coffee, but it was difficult to pay the $20 price tag. Maybe next time. I'd come back to support a place like this.

The cafe, with its unassuming facade, is a hidden gem nestled on the outskirts of the Arts District. It offers a comforting escape from the bustling city. I ordered their signature Cortado with whole milk. The rich, creamy texture of the whole milk perfectly complemented the robust flavor of the coffee, making it an ideal choice for a cold morning. The cafe has two floors and plenty of seating. I love that they play classical music softly, adding life to the space. They are cashless. Free street and paid parking are both available around the area. I parked on 6th St. and just walked less than a block.

I'm also not sure if Wynd is part of it as well (they were located on Virgil but moved elsewhere in the Arts District), but I did notice there was some sort of pop-up happening here too. The attention to detail these coffee shops put into everything is the cherry on top of it all. I'm a simple gal with my iced lattes with whole milk and no sweetener, and this place just knows how to get the ratio right, smooth, balanced, and not overpowering at all. Unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. Walking into a coffee shop should feel welcoming. Instead, most visits feel cold and uncomfortable. There is rarely a hello, welcome, smile, or thank you from the staff. The overall attitude often feels bothered or uninterested, almost like customers are an inconvenience rather than appreciated guests. The coffee itself is decent at times, inconsistent at others, but customer service is what keeps people coming back. I truly hope the owner and management take this feedback seriously and focus on creating a more welcoming environment. A simple greeting, smile, and positive attitude go a long way. There are many coffee shops people can choose from, and feeling appreciated matters just as much as the product itself. I wanted to support this business, but after many visits and the same experience over and over again, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
