If I could leave less than one star I would! Working with Ken Burnett was an absolute nightmare. It could not have been a worse experience!!! Because of his incompetence our file took over 4 months to get through. During those 4 months he took 4 leisurely vacations in which he did absolutely no work. He confused our file with a completely different person, asking for proof of child support when neither me or my husband pay or have any type of child support. There were so many times where we would text call and email, and he would call or email back right as soon as his day was over and was walking out of the office and still wouldn't even answer our questions. I too had the very terrible unfortune of being referred to Joe Burnett at Union Home Mortgage. I was quickly pre-qualified, but things went down hill from there. Joe Burnett was HORRIBLE when it came to communication, often going days without answering multiple calls and emails from not only me, but my realtor. He constantly fed us mis-information and then was unresponsive after we quickly responded to "underwriting concerns." Joe Burnett made our home buying experience a nightmare, a horrible, stress filled nightmare because he is uncommunicative, and irresponsible as a lending officer. I felt like I was baby sitting a 6 year old. We got a great home, at a great price, but the lending process was an absolute horror whenever Joe Burnett was involved. If you value your sanity, and wish to go with a lender that will actually communicate and HELP you through the process, STAY AWAY from Union Home Mortgage and Joe Burnett. read more

Just wanted to say that I have been dealing with Union National Mortgage for my home buying process {Now Union HOME Mortgage}, Thus far I feel my needs have been met fairly, timely, and with great satisfaction! I still have not closed on my home but am very close! I am dealing with Joe Burnett as the other reviewers on here have as well, and his assistant pam, however..as I have said my experience has been nothing but positive and feel that each applicants situation may vary depending on their circumstances, they can only do so much given the info and personal matters involving each person & it is the same with all mortgage companies I believe. I have had matters also come up and they were extremely helpful in directing me into ways to resolve them! I am only doing this because it seems only those that feel they have been wronged will post a negative review and the many that have gone smoothly will not feel the need to take time and talk about their experience. I will update my review upon closing just to give a fair review, but as of now I would highly recommend Joe Burnett & union home mortgage! read more
