Upon entering the store I was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who asked me straight away if I needed any help. I informed her of my technical situation and we discussed the possible problems and solutions. She was really friendly and very down to earth, which made me feel at ease. She showed me the cartridges that I needed for my printer and told me that if I had any problems to return to the store, bringing my receipt and the cartridges with me. I was pleased I came to this store rather than the bigger computer chain stores as I know that the staff can be quite pushy with sales. I would recommend this store to anyone who lives in the area.

When l normally buy items from these guys at the check out it could easily hit several hundreds of pounds if not over a thousand pounds. I reticently purchased a Garrett pro pointer amongst other things, one of the new orange ones and thought when spending £130.00 on one piece of kit that it would last more than a few uses. One the first day of use the item failed, on changing the battery it seemed to work for a few hours but the next day the probe failed and l thought that was quite strange as the old probe that l had the battery would last at least a month or more. In one month l went through five battery's and when you go through that many there is obviously a fault somewhere. I contacted customer services and it was if they where speaking to me as if l was a child or an idiot saying that it was common to have battery's that fail, yes l understood that but not five different brands. I was promised a replacement but was only sent the old faulty one back. I wouldn't use Regton's after the way l was treated by customer services.

They have even offered to loan me a spare coil while mine is being fixed Bearing in mind I didn't even buy the item from Regton (I bought it from Detector Distribution on the south coast) you cant complain at that sort of service can you!!!!!!!!

I've been hard pressed to find a decent alternative in this country, that was until I found Printgo. This smallish shop is perfect for all of your printing needs, whether that be a 20,000 word dissertation or an A1 poster; they have pretty much everything you require from a print shop. I came here to print off a 97,000 word manuscript I had written the previous year. They even offered to bind it for me, an offer I declined. The job was done fast and efficiently and I will definitely be coming back here again.

However, you'd be a little hard-pressed to know that they do anything other than garment printing as there doesn't seem to be much in the way of advertisement of this service in the shop. However, the staff were pleasant and helpful - although the guy I spoke to had to keep looking everything up when I asked him a question. At least all the info was to hand, however. The business cards are a little pricey, if you're used to good old Vistaprint freebies. That said, they are all laminated, double sided, in colour and individually designed, so fair enough. It was £75 for a pack of 500. They also have a 'no minimum order' policy on garment printing - which seems like a good thing if you just want a one-off.

The print is a thing of beauty, and the framing matches it perfectly - but the only downside I would say is that these guys charge a LOT for framing. Some of what I need to do in my business is have things framed, and I've been forced to shop around to try and find the perfect balance between cost and quality. The sheer volume of stock is astounding as they purvey every conceivable toner for every conceivable printer. The staff are friendly and very knowledgable and they have a solution to any print problem you may be facing. Their expertise enables them to help both local businesses and the home publisher alike. Also, the range of stock means you have a choice when choosing your toners or inks. Don't just settle for the manufacturer's own brands. The staff here will advise you of your options, and it could be that an alternative, compatible toner is the better priced option for your particular machine. I made a nice little saving doing this.
