The sales person (Jake) who came out to Niskayuna to provide an estimate was very friendly and said all the right things about how TBTJDG values their customers and works to retain your business. We agreed to a scope of work and paid a 50 percent deposit. On install day, the installer decided the scope of work needed to be changed, but didn't bother to contact us to discuss it before moving forward. The result was disastrous. I returned home from work to find two down spouts installed on both sides of the entry in the house in a very odd and unsightly manner. Imagine two very long wings coming out from the side of your house. Upon discovering this, we contacted Jake and he came out to review the situation. The fix we came up with was to extend the unsightly down spouts underground. They had the audacity to charge us to fix the mistake and to make matters worse it still took at least 3 weeks and several calls and text messages for someone to show up to complete the job. Today 2 installers who clearly have little or no experience doing this work showed up and things quickly went from bad to worse. We waited and watched patiently while they lacked the proper equipment and tools to do the job and had to leave several times in search of materials to complete the job. Six hours later we're told that someone else from the company will need to come back to complete the job because these installers were not comfortable with the results. Well guess what....neither are we. I typically don't write reviews good or bad. However, I've remained professional and cordial throughout this several week process, but this is utterly ridiculous. I feel sorry for the installers that came today. They needed guidance and tried to call their boss who couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone or call them back. Ultimately, the job was completed to the best of their ability. One would think that since the initial work didn't go well, they're send experienced installers capable of making things right. I say again, ridiculous. Buyer beware.

I did as requested, but no response came. We followed up with additional emails, and then another call when I was told that Calvin was very busy but would get back to me. Two months later, and I haven't heard back from them. Would I love to hire them? Yes. Would I pay them to do the jobs we need? Yes! Will they ever get back to me? We shall see...

My wife commented that our fabric loveseat needed a good cleaning, so I started looking for…read morecleaners online. I found this place with good reviews so I researched their website. Needing a minimum $100 amount of work for a job (their cleaning prices are per item and posted online), I added our leather couch which originally was a rich chocolate brown but had turned a faded red color. Thinking it needed to be cleaned and moisturized, I added that on for a total of $145. I picked a time online using their website and waited a week for them to show up. They sent me a confirmation email almost immediately, which was nice. But then they never showed up. I called them and talked to someone who said that they were having computer problems and my order was never processed. Forwarding to them their original confirmation email showed I had a job on order, but they rescheduled for another week or so out. I asked for another confirmation email which I never received. They then showed up early on the appointed day (which I didn't mind, but some might) and started on the leather couch. They told me that they tried to work on it but the discoloration was neither due to dirt nor drying out. Meaning, they couldn't do anything. They offered to refund my money paid for that, but that would have put my order under $100. So, I could pay for them to do cleaning work that wouldn't actually do anything, they could leave without touching the loveseat, or they could add on features to their loveseat job to make it $100 (or, I guess, just charge me $100 for that). We added "Teflon spray" to the loveseat and I guess it worked out. The loveseat does look better, and it was beat up to begin with, but I am pretty disappointed with the experience. I appreciate that they weren't late the second time, and didn't charge me for unnecessary work, but the RSVP mix up and then requiring me to add on stuff instead of just saying "we messed up the first time, so just pay for the loveseat cleaning and we will waive our $100 minimum job amount" is a bit annoying. I think I would call them again, but I am not in a rush to do so.
