However despite appearing like a clothes store, you find out after wandering round that they also sell homeware and kitchen utensils too. The clothes they stock do have details that give them away as being a bit 'off' and dated, however they do have some basics that (maybe) could be in demand with people with particular tastes. It became a bit of a thing, where people planned in advance where they wanted to explore at 4am on a given date, and this was one of those locations. We must have arrived about 5am, and compared to the rest of the city, the market was a bustling hive of colour and voices and activity. Stalls and stalls of fresh produce and flowers, assaulting the senses visually and through smell too. (Olfactorily?) It felt surreal anyway, as it was 5 in the morning, but the people working there were all bright and eager to chat, or to have their produce photographed. There's a cafe in the heart of the markets that is amazing too!

Is this some kind of joke or something? Or some sort of ritual? I did manage to get up early and we got to the market for 4.30am; by that time the place was buzzing. I couldn't believe it because it was so early in the morning for so many people to be up and about. There were so many people eager to purchase fresh products. There are lots of markets selling flowers, I guess this is to be expected at a horticultural market. I kind of appreciated why my friend loved the market so much; though it's not really my kind of thing- I'd recommend people to at least experience it once.

Take anything back and they fob you off by charging more for the replacement item than it would be if it was not an exchange. Right rip off unless you are on your toes and challenge their price. Same items at Stony Lane Plumbing supplies are cheaper and much better service. Even PU electrical are better and that is being charitable. Do not shop here unless you are desperate.

Some market stalls are given a massive amount of attention in terms of their appearance. Lots of…read moreeffort is put into making them look nice, arranging the products in a fancy appetising way, with pretty signs and generally high aesthetic values. Locate in the food sector of the indoor market, Factory Shop Foods is not one of those market stalls, but then again they's not a lot you can do in terms of visual interest with frozen foods. The sign there boasts of selling products like Ginsters and Mcain's at discount prices. Neither of those products appeal to me but I have popped into Factory Shop Foods from time to time to take advantage of their frozen bargains. There's lots in the way of frozen ready meals and frozen pies, fish fingers,etc and there's also quite a lot of frozen meat, fish and vegetables. Possibly one of the least glamorous shopping experiences you will ever have, but a very very cheap one at that.
