Most of our furniture is ruined from mold, as well as books, pillows and a nice mattress and box spring. Also, we had been trying to gain access to our unit for months but were unable to because they had jack-hammered all of the concrete from in front of my building and it was a big mud-pit. What was supposed to be a two-week project was at 4 months when we moved out. They focused on "potential customers" by pouring a HUGE concrete pad for new climate-controlled storage, but could care less about their current customers who couldn't gain access to their units because there was no concrete to drive/walk on and the drainage was non-existent so it was quite muddy. I had requested that they give us access by building some sort of ramp, but they didn't do ANYTHING until we finally stated that we were moving out and we better have access to our unit to be able to do so. The poor lady at the desk was SO kind, but was told that she could not give out the names or numbers of those above her.

The structure can be seen in their pictures; it's an aluminum roof and 80% closed in the front of the stall and remains open in the rear. The space measures about 24 ft long, 11.75 ft high, and 10 ft wide and has a gravel floor. I was out of state the entire time. When i returned, my $50,000 of stored vehicles looked exactly the same as the day I left them. No theft, no weather, no pest damage. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Only 60$/mo for this storage carport in summer 2016. They have even cheaper open gravel lot spaces. RVers-- check it out. It's a rural area. Office folks couldn't be nicer, and always answer their phone.

I would like to post a review of Roberts Components from LaGrange Ga. The owners of this company…read moreof whom I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting are VERY nice people. They are helpful people and showed up to my door step one day to inform us that a previous contractor we had hired to build a 48x40 garage with a full living quarters above had ordered the floor and roof trusses from them back in December (6 months ago).... but never paid for them. I want to leave Roberts Components a good rating because they are working with us to try and resolve this problem. But I would like to inform people who are looking for a contractor to build homes or remodel homes or needs roof work.... PLEASE DO NOT HIRE KEVIN EARL MCGHEE / McGhee Construction. He is a rip-off contractor originally from Hogansville Ga he now resides in the LaGrange Ga area. We paid Kevin McGhee approximately 105k in written checks for our garage build that was contracted for a total price of 125k. When our retaining wall cracked one month after it was built we got concerned and called to verify his Alabama Home Builders License only to be told by the state he is NOT licensed to build homes in the state of Alabama and he can not continue the work. I also called and verified at that time he did not hold a Home Builders License for the state of Georgia either.... We had to stop all work with this man and when we asked for a refund of our unused portion of our money approximately 80-85k we were told by Kevin McGhee he had spent all our money on our project and had no money to refund us. However the floor and roof trusses from Roberts Components were NEVER PAID FOR .... totaling approximately $13,000.00. Those were unpaid .... he had the money at the time they were ordered (December 31, 2017) to pay for them but he didn't..... I'm not sure where the money went..... He said to me that my money was out in my yard in the dirt and in the wall. I will attach pictures of the work preformed by Kevin Earl McGhee of LaGrange Ga / McGhee Construction so that you can see what we got for $105,000.00. We had several inspections done and the work he had done for our job totaled approximately 25-30k range.... not $105,000.00. This man has also ripped other people off in the past and even was sued. He has a criminal history and several bankruptcies, he has no assets that we can find and he is very hard to find as he only uses PO boxes for addresses.... I will also include those reviews in this post from locals in LaGrange area.... This was my first Fall in Georgia. I assume the gardener will clean up the leaves and dispose them. Instead, Manuel created a wall of leaves between my property and my neighbors's. I called their number to ask for the leaves to be either bagged or be taken away yet the wife was snarky and told me it's impossible for Manuel to take the leaves of all the houses he maintains. I offer to buy bags and they came to pick up the leaves yet the wife tried to charge me an extra $120 for that after the weekly fee I paid them. After I asked for clarification, she stopped responding and it has now been 3 weeks. I had been paying them what they ask for weekly maintenance so I expect for the maintenance to take place. Another issue I had was they charge for everything as an extra, even if one asks small plants to be cut or removed. Make sure you ask upfront what their fee includes. I felt Manuel Just was focused on cutting the lawn and nothing else unless I constantly had to ask the wife about what needed to be done. Quite honestly, it's too much work to be dealing with his wife. She seems to be temperamental and also very rude for not returning my texts.
