Read the reviews, because this is not a harmless mistake this is a pattern -- I was charged double for mileage and was told to pay x amount for gas based on those miles cash. The owner will try to dissuade you from filling the tank or pull some BS to rush you in or out thinking you'll blindly give him cash or pay double 4 your rental. When I corrected the amount of miles with a photo of odometer from when I left I was not given the gas money back. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE AND IF YOU DO BE WARNED you will be charged double. They couldn't solve the issue on the call, so Roger came out right away to the house and fixed it! It's an employee owned company and it shows. I had an issue with the first pod I had leaking. They replaced it quickly, but was charged another…read moredelivery fee. After calling numerous times I was eventually refunded, and for 12 months the auto pay feature and the new pod were both fine. When it came time for the pickup (2/24/22) I was not able to schedule it online. Their website kept saying there was an error and each time I called I was on hold for 20 minutes before I had to hang up (due to being at work). I was able to reach someone on chat after a few tries. The first agent scheduled the pickup for the quickest day they had available (march 4). I told them that since the container was empty and ready to go before the auto pay (march 2), I wanted to make sure I would not be charged. The first chat agent confirmed I would not pay for march. I kept checking my account and the pickup never showed it was scheduled but the chat agents confirmed that it was scheduled on the backend. The container was picked up on the 4th. I paid the pickup fee, but I still had an open invoice for the full amount of march's rental. I tried chat first and was told that the open invoice was for 2/2-3/1! I told her it was not and then she said that container had to be picked up before 3/2 in order to not be charged for the entire month. I explained about the web issues and numerous calls and was told to call billing that "maybe" they can prorate it. So then I called billing....after holding for 30 minutes they told me that they would submit a claim to have it prorated and that once it was approved I would see a refund after. I told her I was not paying it because the container was already removed. She said the claim was submitted and gave me a confirmation number. March's invoice remains unchanged and unpaid. I paid the pickup fee. If they want to charge me for the 2 days it sat in my yard waiting for pickup, whatever, but they still have not adjusted the invoice. After hearing the billing struggles I've had our friends have decided to look for other storage options.
