I'm not sure how a post office managed to make me so upset, but the New Philadelphia one sure…read moremanaged to. My first complaint happened a couple months ago when I went there for my passport. The woman helped us with our questions and sent mine and my others off to be processed. My mother recieved her's a few weeks later, but I never got mine. Turns out that she never authorized the passport and I was one week away from leaving for Mexico. I paid ANOTHER 60 dollars on top of the passport fee to have my new passport expedited. I returned back to the post office when a package for me was delivered there instead of my house. Part of the package did arrive at my house. I understand that I live outside of city limits or whatever so my package did end up at the post office. But the same woman proceeded to yell at me for my ignorance about trying to send a package to my house instead of my po box. Excuse me? If you're working with the public, you should get used to being polite and correctly doing your job.

In any case, this one is even closer to work too, not to mention the lack of traffic to get there. The employees here have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. The country, small-town charm really shows. The selection of stamps is usually quite limited. Them being in a smaller town they don't get a large quantity of the new and unique ones. However, they're a full service location and I have already shipped countless packages out of here. There are even some select occasion cards available on a small rotating rack and an assortment of the flat rate envelopes and boxes. Outside, the building still has an older Post Office charm to it with brass (at least in color) letters and numbers on a red brick façade. There is parking both on the street and in a large lot adjacent. I've never not had a place to park and never had to wait more than 5 minutes in line.
