That did not happen and we were sent to another door for Parcel Pickup where you have ring a bell for setvice. Another person had been waiting 15 minutes and eventually left. So it's a Post Office, eh? So my only issue here would be the occasional long lines. I've been here three times, once- short line/ short wait. The second trip was a bit longer but the service was friendly. The third time I used the self service kiosk and found it easy. The self serve kiosk has been up every time I've gone, which I think is better than other offices I've lived near. So when I've gone, I have experienced varying wait times, but have always found the service here great. The USPS envelopes/ boxes can sometimes be out of stock, I was looking for a priority flat rate padded mailer, and they were out. I feel like this is pretty standard too. Parking lot is kind of an odd set up, but nothing unmanageable once you've seen it once. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. These employees do not give a FUCK about you. I had an ordered shipped from California back on the 13th. On the 20th, I got an email saying it'd be delivered the next day. The 21st, it went from the Melear location (2 minutes from me), to this location. No movement all the way through the 24th. I tried calling 3 times, but of course no one answered. I drove all the way here, I rang the bell for 10 minutes and Adeceli (or how ever you spell it) opened the door with an attitude and asked what I wanted. I told her that my package was sent there and has been in limbo for 3 days. Gave her the tracking number. She 100% CONFIRMED it was there, but she would NOT give it to me. She claimed that it had to go BACK through processing, BACK to Melear, THEN delivered to my house. Complete bullshit. She didn't care that it was erroneously at this PO. She didn't care that I have to send this to my wife, who lives in Germany, for Valentine's Day. It'll take at least 2 weeks to get there. She didn't want to fix THEIR fuck up, nor did she want to admit they fucked up. I had all the evidence, yet she refused to do the right thing and hand me my package right then & there. Because we cannot ask the people in the back to put it on hold. While he continues to stare off in the direction that is not my face. If you're gonna talk to me, look at me. Not some box. Customer service is horrible, and I would know what customer service is because I work at a place where customer service is key. If I'm paying 5 dollars for a 2-3 day priority it should take 5 days max. Not 6 days and to be told I would have to call or go online to get the location where I am standing to hold the package for pickup, now that's insanely beyond me. Roger is my favorite postal office worker! Unfortunately, this location always has a line. You would think management would hire more workers to help the lines. But it doesn't make any sense that the myriad of times I came to this post office, the line was by the door (not the main door but the second door to the right to enter the post office counter and make purchases). The times I have came to this location weren't even at peak times, they were between 1 and 2 pm or early morning even, after 9am. Avoid it at all costs or be prepared to wait. read more

Funny thing is this person takes her sweet time at her job with no sense of urgency or proficiency.I got here at 8:30 am on a Tuesday taking time off of work. Long story short: The lines here are always either super long and pretty slow, or short and super slow. The biggest problem at this post office is Ms. Sharon. Ms. Sharon needs to either retire or management needs to move her to a different position. She's a sweet lady and isn't rude at all but after going to this post office for nearly half a decade she still seems to be pretty lost when it comes to operating their computer system. Maybe offer her some additional training? Although a lot of time I'm not even sure if that will help because she approaches her work with a very relaxed sense of urgency even if the line is out the door. Like I said, she's really really nice. But if you're looking to be in-and-out of this post office pray that she isn't working that day. Mr. Roger, Mr. Tommy, and Ms. Barbara (I think is her name? Worst attitudes! You are here to help and you seem inconvienced by your customers. You seem as if you don't want to be bothered when you are a servicing center. I tried to get a passport and looked at the hours online but because I came 15 mins before the ending time you decided it was too late. Your hours state otherwise. A handwritten note was placed on the wall to let me know they weren't taking anymore people after I clocked out early on my job to make it 15 mins before the ending time. I went the Saturday before and of course they decided they weren't doing passports at all that day. The lady was sending people to the post office in North Arlington. A customer asked if the Mansfield location was doing passports that day and the worker responded that she doesn't work for them. JERK! After two attempts with this horrible location, I went to the one in Mansfield and was treated like a human being instead of a nuisance. The worst post office ever. Came to get a passport for my 1 month old son. The old worker at the passport office told us he only takes people who have an appointment and to get this appointment you need to come first thing in the morning to put your name on the list (cannot do it the day before, online or via phone) when I asked him to schedule it whole I am there for the next day he refused and rolled his eyes at me. My husband works all day and I have a newborn which makes it impossible to come twice to the same office for me. Went to the office on South Street and got everything done in 5 minutes. They should close that passport office or hire young and fast personnel read more
