The delivery person is constantly saying that I tell them to hold my package...I have never. It's so frustrating because I know it's not true and my packages take longer to get to me just because they don't feel like delivering them. read more

This should be zero stars. I paid extra for Saturday delivery and my package was not delivered, nor was there any attempt made. Please explain when daily mail delivery will resume in this area, as this level of service is unacceptable. Mail was once reliable--now it's a giant mess. read more

Post office is open but no one is manning the desk to help. Other workers refuse to help or get help. This feels like class warfare. I'm starting to wonder if these "lost packages " are t intentionally lost. Not only are workers rude and hostile they feel like they can taunt customers for their own entertainment. read more

The carrier who delivers mostly packages that won't fit into my mailbox, has repeatedly labeled my packages "Delivery attempted, but front door or driveway was not accessible." That is absolutely a LIE. My front door is always accessible. It is never blocked. I have a 140' long driveway and there is never anything blocking it other than maybe another vehicle, since mine is always under the carport off to the side of the driveway. Another vehicle parked in my driveway does not block access to the front porch or the front door. I have complained IN PERSON to the Postmaster and his response is NOTHING. read more

Walking in takes you back into history. The smell...old marble...the drop boxes, PO Boxes, the wood and the bars on the windows. A historical gem. The employees are locals and they know the city. Feel free to ask them questions. Parking is a challenge. read more

Is it not a requirement to be able to read addresses if you are a mail carrier? We have tried everything: calling the Greensboro branch, speaking to the mail carrier, writing notes with address highlighted... We continually receive mail that does not belong to us, & I mean not a few pieces but a WHOLE mailbox full! I am tired of working my job & going home to deliver mail which is NOT my job. WHAT A GEM! I am not writing this review regarding services at the local post office. I am writing it from the point of view of someone who loves historic buildings especially those that remain largely untouched by modernization. This building was built in 1937 and as soon as you look at it, you realize that it has a very long and rich history, although it has no historical marker. As I was taking pictures of the building, I noticed a couple enter and thought cool, it is open for touring. Actually, it is open for business! It is a fully functioning post office which is very impressive considering the age of the building. Who knew? As soon as I enter, notice all of the wood trim and the bronze bars across the service windows. The building is small but comfortable and can perfectly meet your personal needs. Had the clerk not been busy serving customers, I would have "chatted her up" about the building's history but did not want to interrupt. As I explored a bit more, I noticed a large mural placed in the right hallway, (look up). The mural, (the burning of Greensborough), depicts an attack by Muscogee Indians who massacred many of the town's settlers back in 1787. It is a powerful depiction. You will definitely want to stop by and visit this little gem while visiting the city of Greensboro. read more

when I first moved here from Atlanta, I told one of the clerks that she didn't understand how it was done - that she was supposed to be nasty and surly. these are the nicest and most helpful postal employees I have ever encountered. from the top to the bottom they excel. read more
