I just got notification that a delivery was attempted but they couldn't access my door or driveway. My vehicle is in my driveway! NOTHING is in front of my door! FIX YOUR MAIL CARRIERS ON THE BASE. This was the 2nd week of July, the package should have arrived to fort sill around July 13th-16th & I was told since I was already home by that point, it would be returned to sender & I should get it back at home. It is now September 4th and the package has never arrived. Those letters are priceless & not having that debit card has created a huge hassle for me! This is not a 3rd world country, it is not that difficult to correctly send back someone's mail, especially when expedited shipping was paid for! He estado en espera por una hora ya por telefono. You can weigh, pay for postage and be on your way w/ most letters, envelopes and packages. No line, no human interaction...it is the best.

I'm on way to Colorado to go fly fishing and get a call from a colleague to send some mail to him. I have on hand all of the items that I need, except a local post office. I look up and spot a local PO, but not on Yelp. It is hard to say anything negative about this cute little, I mean little post office. But they get the job done! They maybe small, but they are on point! Thanks to this little PO!

The PO Box service is all I'm using the place for anymore. I remember way back when they stayed open to 5pm. Perfect time for the working man/woman to get out of work and still get there to do busy. So now they close at 4:30pm, which doesn't allow for customers to get there to do business before the locked doors keep them out. There are other US Postal facilities in the area that ARE open until 5pm or later. So if you live in Burkburnett and work in Wichita Falls, look for the closest facility there. I don't know how many times I've sat in my car outside and see cars rush up between 4:31-5:00 and the customer get out only to find to a locked door. Seriously 10-20 people in that half hour daily. At this facility it's all about getting bonus checks for management.

Since they close early, I had to take off of work to go and ask for my collected mail. They were apologetic, for what that's worth. Recently, I've moved to a different address within Burk. I had mail forwarded to my new address, as did the previous owner. A month later, I'm still getting some of their mail and some of my mail is still going to my old address. Called the number and was put on hold for 56 minutes. Moral of the story is: This is what happens when the Federal Government takes control of ANYTHING.
