The trees are huge, probably 70 years old. The lower branches were hanging so low that they were encroaching on the deck of the house behind mine and they were making it hard for the lawn guy to pass his riding mower beneath the limbs on my side. Scott climbed the tree like a pro and roped the limbs, and Harley guided the limbs down so slow and easy onto my side of the fence that the branches never touched my neighbor's deck. They hauled away all of the branches and used a blower to clear my yard of any leaves and debris. Harley even cut one of the limbs into a small pile of firewood for my fire pit. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and the price couldn't be beat! Definitely 5 stars!

I told all of the tree services that I interviewed that I wanted a dead pine taken down and hauled…read moreoff without damage to the shrubs. I was clear about it. They did a good job except when they cut the third section of the trunk of the tree off, they were pulling in the wrong direction and the piece came down and destroyed a 30 year old azalea bush. At the end of the job I pointed that out to the manager and showed him the damage. All he could say was that azaleas grow back quickly. I then said that it would not be back to that size in my lifetime and paid him what we had agreed upon but told him that I would not be able to give them a good review. He said that's OK and offered no discount or meaningful apology. They were not the cheapest estimate I had gotten. I guess I should have gone with the lower bidder. I would have saved a couple hundred dollars and gotten the same result. They seem like nice guys, but beware if you have shrubs you want kept. Also, I would not hire them for any job that might end up on your house until they have more experience and know better what they are doing.
