BIG on supporting our youth. It's a large church so its easy to find a seat at either service. They encourage people to vote on Sundays after church and even make it an event for everyone to go. I'm actually Baptist but I spent my summers with Grandma in the AME church so it's always refreshing to come here once in a while. Thanks Bethel AME family for always welcoming me with open arms. :)

Have been to special programs at this church in the past; never thought to post a review though…read more Recently attended a concert there on a Sunday afternoon; had a lovely time; signs in the church-related to mask wearing which was very much appreciated; most of the folks at the concert had on their masks; nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon; beautiful building; lovely grounds; feeling of peace/serenity; so appreciative of how the folks at this church offer community gatherings; it wonderful when a diverse group of people can come together and have a nice time.

The church has amazing ministries: music, dance, married couples, women's, etc. There is something for all ages to be involved in at New Mt Zion to help us better foster our relationship with God. The pastor brings forth powerful messages that uplift, correct, and provide reassurance for our walk with Christ.
