Lake City has over 38 life groups, excellent kids programs, Prison Ministry, Celebrate Recovery, Marriage Groups, Fellowship groups, Prayer groups, Bible Studies, Art groups, Holy Rollers motorcycle group, Spiritual Warfare groups, Fitness groups, Hispanic connection, Singles group and so much more. It feels like a big family. The Pastor speaks Biblical truth and not his own opinions. That is a very important part of following the Bible. I see someone gave a one-star review because the sermon had politics in it.....Everything that you do in life matters. That includes the way you vote. Jesus is pro-life. If you are going to a church that does not feel that way, that is not of God. Don't let anyone's opinion of a church sway you. How do you know what their walk with God is like? Come and see for yourself. When you follow Jesus, you follow Him as a way of life, not just on Sundays. Tuesday nights are for kids from 6th-12th grade. They have an amazing time learning about Jesus. The Wednesday night prayer events are out of this world. If you need a home church that is 100% about Jesus and a big family, come join us. If you want to go to a church where you hear what you want to hear, that is not always Biblical and this will not be the place for you. Sometimes the Lord will make sure you feel convicted. Find relevant worship music, gracious members that make anyone, everyone and those solid in their faith or Simone starting an exploration in Christianity feel welcome. My 2 year olds and I were rudely dismissed and told we were not allowed to be on the park during the time they had there class if kids there. He preaches The Word very clearly and makes it easy to understand. The music is phenomenal. It is mostly contemporary but they usually add some traditional music. Everyone on stage takes turns singing so it's not all focused on one person which is nice. I would definitely recommend visiting this church as they preach the Gospel and are very mission oriented.

Many years ago I went to Grace Covenant for a couple of months. Life got in the way & I stopped…read moregoing. I started back this past Sunday & I'm glad I did. Grace is very welcoming, but not pushy. They have a gorgeous "campus" with plenty of parking. The sanctuary is very warm & homey feeling, with a large stage for the musicians & presentations. The "layout" of the service is great. There's singing in the beginning, but not your traditional hymns. These are more "updated" & uplifting. There are singers, guitar players, keyboardists, & a drummer. Pastor Ferrell is wonderful. He is strong in his faith & knows the bible. He has a very calming voice & isn't "preachy." Services aren't long & drawn out. And for your convenience, they have three services on Sunday morning (8, 9:15 & 11) & one on Monday nights at 7. They have lots of outreach services & opportunities for the congregation. They also have Sunday School for all age groups. Plenty of seating & they give you a notes handout in the service program.
