Absolutely incredible product, especially their deck railing. It is durable and looks perfect! Best deck railing out there!

Buyer Beware!! Not even a year after professional installation of our brand new deck... the Deck Railings from UFP which is a expensive composite product warped/bowed really bad and had gaps where rails meet the post with fading already. The railing system rests on our stair steps and the support blocks which are hollow buckled everywhere crooked as time passed. After contacting the Universal Forest Products and waiting for the technical support representative Milan Matheson to meet with the board and figure out what they would do for us, he eventually got back to us and stated they would send new railings. The product installed the same way in many... many difficult pieces and same issues were present. They refused to stand buy the product and no one from management or corporate office came to our residence to inspect the product which I found very disrespectful. They completely blamed the installation and stopped responding. Thankfully the installer felt bad and stood buy his promise to give us a quality product. I am happy to say today.....The Universal Forest railing product has FINALLY been removed and tossed in the garbage where it belongs and we have a sweet new Westbury Aluminum Railings in place installed by the same people UFP blamed for their products failures. It speaks volumes to get rid of the product even the replacement unused system they sent because it looks so bad. Please listen and do not make the same mistake. We had multiple friends and family members comment on it and ask if we got it at Home Depot or Menards ... very embarrassing. see Photo's ... they do not lie! read more
