I loved it, my room was on the 20th floor of the Australis tower which was around the corner from the check in reception. It's a big and tall apartment spanning about 42 floors. A lot of people going in and out but once you're in the room it's hotel living with two big bedrooms, two bathrooms, strong WiFi, big living room, FULL kitchen, fridge and cable tv. This location on Lonsdale is close to Southern Cross train station and the Skybus stop (easy access from the airport). It's location is in the CBD and close, walking distance to the attractions In Melbourne city. The location is close to Marvel Stadium (even though we came all the way from Los Angeles for the Metallica concert and it was canceled due to James H. going into rehab). :( We will make the most of the trip though! Just downstairs is a convenience store for all supplies like milk and bread (apartment has a toaster and kettle and tea/coffee). The swimming pool, spa and sauna are on level 33 and we went every night to tire out the kids.. it worked a treat. Tram is just outside although it's a short walk to places like Southern Cross station. I took the boys for a train ride to Yarraville and watched a movie at the Sun Theatre which is an easy walk from yarraville station. We ate in a lot and ordering was a breeze, I downloaded deliveroo app and just pulled in the address and had no problems. The apartments are very spacious and offer fantastic views of the city thanks to the ceiling to floor windows. The kitchen is also furnished with modern stovetops and cabinets. Freshwater have 2 recreational floors available for its residents. Level 10 offers a 'rooftop' garden with bbq areas, a pool, sauna, spa, gym steam room, business room and function center (with kitchen). Level 40(only available to tenants living on lv 40 or above), offers similar facilities with the exception of being the exclusive 'skyline club'. The facilities here are all incredible, they are modern, sleek and well designed. The equipment in the gym is all new and the lounge areas are clean and comfortable. Freshwater also have a concierge service and excellent building entrance security. If I'm ever on the market for a CBD apartment (and if I have enough money), I would seriously consider this place.

The location is great and directly underneath the tower is an basic IGA and a few good little coffee shops, although only open in the daytime. It's quite a transient place with a lot of people only short-term leasing, but in a way I liked that as you get to meet a wider array of interesting people to talk with when knocking around in the community areas. It also makes sense if you are looking for a temporary place to learn the City if coming from somewhere else. As for us we simply jumped on the internet and persued what was available, and Millership & Co ended up being the agents that were selling the house that we eventually purchased. I have to admit that we had no problems whatsoever with these guys. They were always available to assist us in inspecting the house, and the transfer went through without a hitch. Most importantly we did feel like we got our value for money. Okay, they really only operate in the outer northern parts of Melboure, but I have to say that it was a pleasure working with them.

When I select a PM I want to know that the manager has an understanding of gearing, finance, yields, ROI, building compliance, depreciation, insurance and all the things needed to help build and maximise my portfolio. It's refreshing to see the PM team at Hocking Stuart Werribee taking the time to understand the investor needs!! The property management is unprofessional and no offer of refund was given for all of the distress and basically for not adhering to their end of the contract. I paid for nothing, no service, 'notta', nil, zip! The story goes... Our new tenants requested a few repairs on the property. As explained several times to Hocking Stuart, Eric Bartz, Jessica Watson and crew my husband will adhere to the repairs because he is handy. If he is not able to do so for whatever reason we shall engage a repair person. We asked to be put in contact with our tenant several times (10+), or to have him contact us. We have asked to get on the property SEVERAL times, nothing. Regular update emails regarding how they cannot contact him keep being sent to us. It's ridiculous really. Finally, after I was forced to speak aggressively (not vulgar, just higher tone) I was able to set a date and time with my new (6 weeks into the role) property manager for next week. I have been trying to help my new tenant since JULY, it is now December. I have been trying to access MY house via my property managers for this long. They were happy to take the money; commission from the sale of the house, finders fee for the tenants, charge me over the top for advertising, etc, etc but when it came down to actually managing the property and the relationship with the tenant FAIL! Proceed with caution!
