I will NEVER shop at this store again. I live in Alabama, needless to say one can't find "GEORGIA" items there, but my daughter has lived and taught school in Athens over 10 years and has her hair done next door to this business (as have I). I visit with regularity and have shopped this store numerous times including Thanksgiving this year. I purchased three pairs of gloves and other items to give as Christmas gifts. Went home to Bama and came back for Christmas, but the seasons cheer was definitely dampened when I tried to return and/or exchange two pair of damaged gloves today. I was told the "rules" by the young clerk...no further discussion....It was past thirty days (remember I'm out of state), and the tags, (which I saved) were not on the gloves with the original plastic attachment. 45 years of working and owning businesses taught me the importance of customer service, return customers and the damage of word of mouth. My family will not support any business operating within this frame of mind. ...so much for promoting and supporting small business. read more
