Paul and his staff are quite simply the best hair-dressers in town. He has colored my hair to natural looks and wild and outrageous looks. He also styles my wifes hair, colors it, and she has never had better looking hair. Georgina is also superb. Both have British accents, great conversational skills, and rather than being bored, I am always excited to return. I love the little things they do for us, like offering hot tea while we wait, the comfy sofas and magazines, greeting us by name and actually remembering our conversations from our last visit. I never feel like I am going to a business, I feel like I am visiting some of my dearest friends. My experience with Unkommen Salon on November 16, 2013 was amazing. I called early that Saturday morning to schedule an appointment. Kasey Conner answered my call and provided exceptional customer service. When I arrived I did not have a wait, Kasey was very personable and polite, she goes above the expectations for her clients. I was skeptic as many customers are with seeing a new stylist, Kasey displays true confidence in her work. Will is great! He has done my color for awhile now. He lightens it up in the summer and is very conscious of keeping my hair healthy too. I recently went in to get a darker color for the fall. I was a little nervous, but he nailed it! It looks great and I am very happy with it. I have ALOT of hair and he never makes me feel like its a chore to put all of those foils in. Will has also told me that if I was not happy with my hair after I got home, to come back and he will work till I was. I had almost given up all hope at finding a hairstylist in Columbus after multiple bad haircuts from different people at various salons. I walked into UnKommen with an awful mess of bad layers and no appointment. I wasn't expecting any miracles at that point but Will was awesome. He fit me in between appointments and although I usually don't trust people to dry cut my hair, I walked out 20 minutes later with a much better cut and confident in his abilities. My visit on Friday November 22 2013 was amazing. I made the appointment just two days before and they were able to get me in first thing in the morning like I requested. my hair dresser, Will Godfrey, was great. He listened as I explained how my hair is and cut and styled it exactly how I explained and imagined it. My hair turned out great, Will was super nice, reasonable price, and they had some of their hair serum on sale which was a plus. Just like all people, I was nervous about finding a new hair salon when we moved. I decided to call Unkommen due to the reviews. Will was my stylist and has been ever since. Will as well as everyone at Unkommen care about what they do. If I come up with a idea, Will will be honest with me on if it will work or not. Kasey Conner is a great hairstylist! I moved to Columbus 4 years ago and spent 2.5 years bouncing from salon to salon, stylist to stylist. I finally found my stylist in Kasey! She is a real professional who takes pride in the quality of her work. She always listens carefully to what I want and then talks me through how she can adapt my ideas to my actual hair (which is very thick & straight). She explains the techniques she uses while she's doing them, and she is VERY meticulous. She also gave me a beautiful updo for my wedding. Highly recommended! read more

When I say Will saved my hairs life, I mean he literally brought it back from the dead. I walked in there so upset and angry at the horrible haircut I got from bliss. It looked like a 7 year old cut my hair with safety scissor. It was so uneven and choppy.
