Everything felt clean, well-kept, and welcoming. One of my favorite features was the food truck, which was open most of the day and conveniently located in front of the activities center. It made grabbing a meal or snack easy without having to leave the resort. Unfortunately, a storm rolled in during our stay, which caused some of the outdoor activities to pause. While the weather was out of everyone's control, I would have loved to see a few more complimentary indoor activities offered in the activity center during the downtime. Overall, we had a great trip, made wonderful memories with friends and family, and would absolutely visit again. We're looking forward to coming back!

Don't waste your time or money like we did. It's not worth it! I'm not sure who's responsible for supplies or motivation of the workers but this place needs an overhaul of everything! People there were very nice and made being nude very comfortable. Tons of boats, pontoons, and jet skis out, so everyone was enjoying themselves orderly and having a great time! Definitely a fav go-to spot for the future!

The only drawback is I had to rent a campsite for the day in order to get a fire blazing. Kind of sucked since I wasn't planning on spending the night. Oh well! It was all still worth it as I supported nature and TPWD. The hiking trails were challenging and invigorating. Thankfully they were also very clearly marked. They were a challenge with all the natural rock and rock cliffs. Penitentiary Hollow was the main attraction of the hike. Wow, Lake Mineral Wells rocks with awesomeness! Please camp here!

The road is at best washboard rutted, muddy and full of potholes. It really needs lots of work. Also, be careful my GPS wanted to send me down some backwoods very poor Road. Be careful if you're coming from the West on 380 the entrance to the campground comes up on you very quickly be aware. Other than the roads the place is very nice, very hospitable, very friendly, we will be back again.

Lake had been up but is getting back to normal while leaving scattered pools near shoreline. see pics Area was pretty clean by human standards but I picked up at least two cups of broken glass ahead of my dogs.
