It's been ages since I've been to a Uno Pizzeria and this place did not disappoint! I came here as part of a Uber two pizza takeout deal for pickup. and everything was delicious! Both the food and service was excellent. Got seated right away, no long wait. I got there early, so I decided to burn the time hanging out at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and seem to be engaged with everyone. I was able to order an Old Fashioned from bar while waiting which was strong and no punk...to say the least. Although the bar is a small area, the main dining space has a lot of seating and there is an outdoor patio area with plenty of seating as well. I noticed while there, they have a lot of happy hour drink and food specials from 3pm - 7 pm. Not to mention, daily food deals too. And, no complaints there .... Because I'm definitely one who loves a good deal! If you are a lover of deep dish pizza, this is your place. Will definitely come here again. read more

First time at UNO Pizzeria and it did not disappoint! Our waiter was incredibly attentive, friendly, and offered great menu recommendations that made choosing easy. The food arrived fresh, hot, and full of flavor -- and the portions were huge, definitely worth the price. We also tried the seasonal cranberry martini, which was a must-have and perfectly balanced. Sometimes the best way to judge a restaurant is not what they do when all goes right, but what they do when it doesn't. I was supposed to bring in pizzas for a preschool event. I ordered 4 pizzas from UNO's. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't inform me that they were down one oven. The result was that my pizzas were over an hour late and, well, let's just say I had to order from somewhere else to make my commitment that day. So now you're wondering how in the hell this place is getting 5-stars, right? Because the manager made it right. Period. Mo is a man of his word, and he values his customers. I am updating my review as this location has some room for improvement. To begin with it could be freshened up a bit but more than that the service could be improved considerably. For example, on our recent visit, the server assured us that a XL pizza would be the best choice for two people, and we trusted her so called expertise. I would certainly say that an XL size would be appropriate for a family of four if not more. The non-pizza dishes (which I tend to order) are dependable but overall, average. On another visit, the servers were all complaining amongst themselves about how busy it gets on Mondays (when individual pizzas are heavily discounted for takeout). All said, I think this location could do better as far as the customer experience and consistent quality. read more

Stopped in on my way home to get a bite. I decided to get the Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla and Windy City Thin Crust pizza to go. Brittney was a good server and recommended the quesadilla and it was very good. It was made with a pizza crust and came with a nice slightly spicy salsa and sour cream. I wanted to leave a newer review as it's been several years and we still frequent this place! You can't beat the happy hour and we love coming in Sunday for all day happy hour (half priced apps) and great drink specials. We now have a little one and they do a great job with kids. They give them pizza dough to play with and my daughter LOVES it. So smart. They also have great events for holidays, Christmas cookies, Halloween crafts and Mother's Day stuff. Staff is attentive and friendly. Not so many coupons but ok with HH prices. Clean and tasty every time. read more

This particular Uno Pizzeria & Grill is ok. The ratings and comments below are in comparison to what I'd expect from a local sports bar on a middle of the week evening that's not a holiday. The food was good. I had the regular order of wings with spicy buffalo sauce and the 10" Windy City thin crust pizza. The wings were decent size with equal split of drums and flats. They were cooked thoroughly without being overcooked. The spicy buffalo sauce was hot enough with a kick. A strong 3 out of 5 heat rating is the best example. The Windy City thin crust pizza was very good. Good quality ingredients and wasn't overcooked. All the toppings were also thoroughly cooked without being fried. The crust was crispy. Overall the food is a 5/5. The customer service was very good. I called to reserve a seat. I didn't know if this location would get busy. I was seated in the bar area in a booth after being asked which section I preferred to sit. Waiter, Andre came by shortly thereafter and explained the menu and took my drink order (water), which he brought out quickly. He was working all the booths in the bar area which were all full except for two. They turned booths quickly and seated new customers. I ordered my food and asked for a taste of wine. Bartender brought me the sample and brought me a second one of another red. Andre was quick to bring me the glass of the wine I ended up ordering. Manager stopped by to see if I needed anything. Staff was polite, professional and courteous. 5/5. Ambiance / facility. It's a sports bar ambiance and it's dated. The booth seats are comfortable but they're worn and I can tell where people have been sitting over the years with how much support the seat gives or doesn't. The woodwork of the booths and columns in the restaurant are worn; all in need to a new coat of finish. Place looks beat. There's no off putting smells and the place is clean. Bathroom was beat and needed some attention. 2/5. Parking is sufficient. It is located in a restaurant / shopping location so parking depends on what else is going on. 4/5. Overall, this particular Uno location is a 3.5 for me. I'll round up based on food taste and great service. I recommend this Uno location and will keep it on my list to go to. We love coming here! We really don't eat at chain restaurants at all, but we were starving one evening and everything was full. So we popped in. We usually sit at the bar! Both the bartenders Rita and Blythe are great! We usually get the tin crust margarita pizza and wings. Their pizza is great and flavorful. The sweet & spicy wings are great. First time despite driving by for years, decided to check out while getting tires rotated across street at Wal-Mart. Glad we did, arrived at around 2pm, just in time for lunch specials. Greeted at door by friendly hostess, given option of bar or dining area. Inside was organized and clean. Seated in dining room, our waiter (Isaiah) was great, took drink order and was right back. Gave us ideas on the menu when asked. My wife & I rolled with lunch specials. Did not know what to expect as they were around $10 - pleased with our choices as the salad was really good, plenty of vegetables, and pretty decent size for a lunch side salad. My pizza was really good, a mini, but by last slice was full and shared one with wife. Chicken parm was good, nice portion, and not enough was left to take home. Ordered 3 deep dish pizzas-2 personal sizes and 1 medium-sized. What's Hot - Menu. Pretty good! Their menu is quite expansive with many veggie options, including options for vegans. There's steak, seafood, pasta, etc.... We also made it in time for their half-off appetizers happy hour specials, which run until 7pm. - Quality. Pretty delish. All our food was pretty well-seasoned and not overly salty. Their deep dish crust is definitely deep dish and holds all the toppings very well. Very good size portions and they do not appear to skimp on the ingredients. - Price. Pretty reasonable, especially given the portions and quality you get. For my husband and myself, our total (not including tip, a half-off happy hour appetizer, and 1 drink) was less than $40. Not bad. - Parking. It has its own parking lot, which is very helpful. What's Not - May not have everything on the menu. Originally, we tried to order their mozzarella sticks appetizer, which they said they did not have. Just be prepared they may not have everything on hand. - Quality. This is subjective; however, one of our group said his pizza crust was too greasy. The pizza that my husband and I shared was delicious and not overly greasy. However, each pizza order comes out separately. - Service. To be fair, their service isn't terrible. However, it's unreliable. They appear to be short-staffed, which may be the reason for the lack of quality of their service. When our appetizers were served, they literally had all 3 of our appetizers, gave us 2 and then walked away with our third appetizer still on their tray. Odd? Haha.... Another example- their wait staff only checked on us once during our meal, which was immediately after our food was served. However, whenever we needed anything during our meal, such as refills of drinks, we always had to flag down their wait staff, which were not easy to find. Ooookkkk it's a very rare day that I change a rating to go down, but I've pretty much had enough. I'm hovering between a 1 and 2..... staying at 2, only for the food. My husband loves the buffalo wings, and I like that I have vegan options available that I enjoy. However, we come here at least every other week, as our go-to restaurant, and I am just so incredibly tired of the repeated horrible service we get in the bar with Rita. 1. She continuously makes my drink wrong. I'm not quite sure how to mess up a gin and tonic, but water is not tonic... and vodka can never be gin. It's repeated. 2. She's also Never present, and often times when she is, she's sitting at her register typing on her cell phone. Last night was literally my last straw. We sat there trying to get a drink before happy hour ended, but as always, she wasn't there! She came back before happy hour ended and my husband tried to flag her down. She completely ignored him... as if she couldn't see him Right there! No acknowledgment. Finally she went to her register and my husband said again, "excuse me! Can I please get a beer before happy hour ends?" She responds "it's 7 now, I can't give you happy hour. But do you still want a beer?" ...... it was literally 7 on the dot at this point, and she was well aware we were trying to get her attention before 7. And if she'd actually been present, then maybe you all would have made a sell of additional drinks and kept your regular customers coming back. She's hurting your business. 3. She then gave us the cherry on top of the cake. We ordered a deep dish pizza.... Mine took forever to come. When I got it, it seemed it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. She doesn't ask if we're ok, I had an empty water the entire meal, she doesn't check on us.... The older couple next to us then get the same thing. She hand carries their pizza out to them and then literally scoops up their first two slices out of the pan and onto their plate!!!??? And I still can't get a refill on water!?! Are you kidding me!? Snowed today so I thought I'd doordash something new. I can say I'll never get food from this establishment again. The pizza might be fine, although if the appetizers are anything to judge by I doubt it. I ordered mozzarella sticks and cheesy breadsticks. The majority of the mozzarella sticks exploded, all the cheese running out and congealing into a mass that included a few of the mozzarella sticks. Somehow, they were all still soggy (and remained limp after being thrown in an air fryer- interesting). The cheesy breadsticks look good- but the flavor is an overwhelming wave of salt and something oddly acrid. No hint of the garlic mentioned in the description on the menu. Weird as it might sound, the marinara sauce was the best thing included with my order. My girlfriend loved it, but didn't love it enough to continue eating either of the appetizers beyond the first couple bites. I have visited this location twice now and I am confident in my 5 star review! The first time I came with my 9 year old dining partner that had a blast creating his personal pizza from the kids menu! By create I mean they bring the dough and the toppings to the table and create he did! I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken and I subbed out the mash for roasted veggies, the chicken was perfection and the veggies were perfectly cooked! Lil Mans pizza was a hit too! Crust was perfect and the cheese was melted just right! My second trip was Super Bowl Sunday and I sat at the bar, the greet time was a smidge long but once greeted the experience was recovered with one of the best Basil Hayden manhattans I have had in a minute! The drink was also reasonably priced at just under $11(yes you heard me correct) since happy hour is all day I chose to order a few apps, the grilled shrimp skewers PERFECTION!! The sauce that it comes with is beyond AMAZING! I then decided to order the spinach and artichoke dip and it was to die for! One of the few places I have done that gets the bread to dip ratio correct! I enjoyed a moderately price glass of Simi Chardonnay with my apps and enjoyed a raspberry crumble dessert that was just the right end to the night. I went here for a trip, and we were served salad, pizza, red pasta, macaroni alfredo, and brownies. We didn't eat the salad, as our spoons were dirty so we sent them back. The pizza was Chicago style, and it was pretty good. The red pasta was delicious, and it was the best thing I ate there. The macaroni alfredo was alright, though the sauce was a bit bland. I didn't eat the brownies, but they looked delicious and friends of mine told me they were too. The service was decent, but it's expected as it was a big trip with many people. The waitress was nice and she did her job well. The place was pretty clean, other than the silverware. The spoons that we were going to use for our salad were definitely dirty, so we sent them back. Some of the forks had spots as well. This restaurant is definitely a good option for a party or group of people, as it has that sort of vibe. This UNO's compared to other ones I've been to ranks high. Our waitress, Ashley, was very sweet and accommodating. The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean- so I was comfortable! The boys each got a kids pizza- one cheese, one pepperoni. The pizzas came out looking nice and fresh. They gobbled them up! My husband and I weren't extremely hungry, so we shared a personal sized deep dish "Numero Uno". The pizza was seriously tasty (and filling). My family and I visited last night and I thought we had an OK experience. It was an hour before closing so that probably affected our experience. We got seated quickly and order drinks, appetizers, and food within decent time. A slight problem we had was that it took 15-20 minutes for our cheesy garlic bread to arrive. I understand it was late but it wasn't crowded whatsoever, so the wait was not justified. When we asked our waitress about it she went to kitchen and magically it came, making me think that it was just sitting in their. Everyone got their own individual sized pizzas, my brother getting the thin crust "cheese please", my sister the deep dish pepperoni, my dad the deep dish chicago market w/o meatballs, and myself the deep dish half cheese half pepperoni. The food tasted good and nothing was off, to me at least. However my family had a different reaction. This early morning I woke up to my dad being very sick, the combination of and . The reason for this obviously being the pizza. I'm assuming one of the chef's were sick or someone didn't wash their hands properly, but regardless I'm disappointed in Uno's. So I live in NC and I had to travel to Va this weekend. I was super excited because I wanted my old favorite some shrimp and crab dip from Unos. Now the dip was amazing and so was the server. It's hard to find good pizza places these days and this week we wanted to try a smaller chain. We scrolled through DoorDash and landed on Unos and we are glad we did! For starters, my family wanted thin crust pizza and we were thrilled they had a Chicago thin crust pizza option. And of course, we all like different things so we were happy we could customize what we wanted on each side. Admittedly that seems easier to do via their website but we just put in the notes what we wanted on each side and they read it. PHEW! The pizza itself was pretty good. Not the best we've ever had but it was good. So much so that we finished entire 16 inch pie! However, we would've appreciated if there was a little more sausage/green peppers since we paid extra for that.
