I went to Riverside Butchery and got one of the best benedicts of my life. It came with smoked salmon and crispy kumara on top of thick hash browns. It was so delicious! I also shopped at one of the food retailers for souvenirs. I ended up getting a small bottle of hazelnut oil and a travel size pouch of red wine salt. After wandering around the botanic gardens nearby, I came back to get a smoothie. I was still full from the benedict, but I was craving fruit. I wish I was able to try more food stalls because everything looked so good! The cuisines featured at this food hall is so diverse. If I stayed longer in Christchurch, I probably would try to get a dish from each food stall. If you're visiting Christchurch, definitely add this to your list of places to eat.

The staff, she said, were amazing. They sat her down and took care of her, bringing her water and offering to drive her home as they felt she was not well enough. One sat with her whilst she waited for one of my other daughters to pick her up. They showed concern and offered comfort to a first time mum-to-be when she was really freaking out. Above and beyond what is expected from customer service. We are all greatly appreciative of their effort. I tried to find a direct email for the management but failed. I hope someone brings this review to managements attention. You have awesome staff. Hold on to them because good staff make for a popular business. Again, thank you ladies.

Eggs were cooked perfectly and the tom yum hollandaise and kimchi furikake gave it a nice unique taste. The chaolbaegi was a nice protein side that complemented the dish.
