In the past we have bought from Up & Running in Oxford (Headington). We were heading over to Milton Keynes so we decided to pop into this store to buy some new running shoes. The shop was empty, there was one male member of staff standing behind the desk looking at the computer with a girl standing beside the counter again playing with her nails. We took our old trainers out to compare what was available, (also this would act as a prompt to the staff) we must have stood there for about 6 minutes before we decided that we would leave. We decided to leave as we were not greeted, were not approached even though we were clearly looking to buy, the service was terrible & we were totally shocked compared to the service from other up & Running stores. We returned back to the Headington store where we were greeted with big smiles & were given a full in-depth comprehensive level of service. Great product but the level of service from the Milton Keynes store was diabolic! read more
