We've attended children's performances where there was a post-ballet party with refreshments and opportunity for the kids to be photographed with the characters from the ballet.. What makes this so special for me and my family is their introductionto the arts. As children my girls looked forward to dressing up to attend this every year. Now, as adults, we continue the family tradition of attending as a family including my daughters spouses. Someday I will go with my daughters when they take their children to the Nutcracket Ballet as I once took them when they were little. I was able to learn so much about acting, film making, characters analysis and show business history from Rob Zimmerman and Peter Allas. They also helped me gain confidence in myself and having a bad a** personality.they'll teach you how to open up and that helped me so much. They are very capable of pointing things out that you yourself as an actor may not be aware of and even things you know you didn't rehearse well enough. Some things may work for you, some things may not, not everything here is black and white or only one way. My advice is to learn what works for you and use it because I feel have improved as an actor since studying here.

You enter through a metal side gate and open a large door, and you find yourself in the "lobby," which consists of a tiny room with a counter that doubles are the box office and concessions stand. If you're early, you need to awkwardly wait until they open the large doors to the theatre space. Once inside, you'll find that it's a *tiny* one-room theatre with seating literally feet away from the actors. Hey, don't get me wrong. I've been in tiny one-room theatres before, but nothing to this extent. The seats were 2/3 full, so that should have been my first clue about the performance : ( It was dismal, and I couldn't wait to get out of there! I'll see a small production any day, just not here.
