According to its website, it provides assessments and treatments for cold, flu, COVID-19, sinus problems, infections, allergies, rashes, migraines, sprains, strains, orthopedic injuries, and more. Days ago, my husband had a bad fall, and he suffered many injuries. He felt concerned about one particular area of his body, so I recommended that he go to an urgent care. He chose this one. He did not complain to me about the employees here. He said that the staff did an x-ray, and their interpretation was that his rib was not fully broken but might be either slightly cracked or bruised. They said that his rib would heal on his own and to take pain medication. The staff also briefly looked at his other injuries and said that he was doing OK and would heal over time.

I had been to two other vein practices before this and had almost given up and thought that I would live with my leg pain forever. Then I found the Vein Institute of Pittsburgh. I had my first appointment with Maria, his sweet and bright nurse practitioner. She ultra sounded my legs and explained everything. Then I began my treatments with Dr. Krysinski. He is such an excellent surgeon...he is kind, he listens and he has worked miracles on my legs!. It is a process, I had a lot going on and my insurance made me space my appointments out some, it will probably take over a year or two to finish but it is worth it. My legs are finally feeling good again. I couldn't be happier. AND my insurance covers the procedures aside from my deductible and copays but just like it is with all of my pcp visits. The action that Michaels team took on the 18th of April with emergency surgery definitely saved his life. Quick thinking and skilled expertise is the Main reason he is still among the living. The Nurses in ICU when we would call for updates were so professional, always telling us the hard truth and reassuring us they were doing everything possible to get Michael up and out of the hospital Alive. Not easy getting the news from 3k miles away in San Diego however we knew that other than praying we could do very little to help our son if we were there in person. Drs., Nurses and Staff were the Miracle workers . Pancreatitis and Pneumonia aren't easy to overcome even with the Amazing Medical Teams here combined with our sons incredible will to live we got a Happy Ending.
