What is the point of having sign in sheet when they don't bother to check it. They grab who ever the hell they want. Signed in at 11:40am on a Sunday. I checked the list and seen that 6 other people have come and gone after my kid was signed in. I've been happy with this barber shop for a while. I've gotten good cuts from good barbers at good prices. But today I had a pretty crappy experience. I took a book to read while I wait because they sometimes have a waiting period. I don't mind the wait because they usually do good work. Today there was no wait and I was sat at a red chair with a barber named Anthony. He shook his cape, greeted me and was just about to start my cut when someone told him there were donuts in the break area. So he walks away from me without saying a word and proceeds to take his break while I'm waiting in the cutting chair. I wish he would have just left me in the waiting seats, but instead they had me ready to go and he completely ignores me. I can see my barber in the back room eating a donut and laughing it up while I'm waiting like a dope. I had this guy cut my hair before and last time he was busy talking with someone else to give me much attention. He just seemed careless and I felt unimportant and like I was bugging him. So out comes another barber and I asked, "Can you cut my hair? Because my guy went to break." and he said no, because my guy was almost done. So I've had it at this point and when Anthony comes out I say "You didn't have to sit me down." and he just says "Alright." so I get up and leave. What made it worse is that I saw four other barbers not working on anyone's hair at that time, but here I am waiting on my guy to finish his donut while I'm forced to watch him enjoy himself. I felt unwelcomed and unwanted. I drove a few miles up the road to Empire Barbershop and spent my money having a great conversation with a good barber there. I'm not sure if I'll be back to Uppercuts. If I do go back there's no way I'll ever sit with Anthony again. He needs to not have his clients feel like they're a bother. The owner, Noe, is great. I've heard great things in the past about the cuts from here when it first opened. So I figured it would be ideal when my sons usual barber was out of town. No. The service was absolutely horrible. I mean HORRIBLE. Not a single stylist acknowledges people as they walk in and they make it apparent that you are just another head by not even making eye contact with any guests. The wait was OVER THREE HOURS, I'm not kidding there was not a single staff member who was helpful or understanding as regulars were taken, regardless of long they'd been waiting over other patrons. Furthermore, stylists would actually vape on the floor while cutting and while people waited, which seemed completely unprofessional. As a mom, I don't want that exposure around my son in a establishment. I do not recommend and I highly suggest the owner truly consider customer appreciation. read more

But both times I was sacrificed to a mediocre barber . When I 1st got there , the receptionist was going to set me up with a different person , till another dumbass barber who's station is just to the right when u enter, 1st chair as u enter the attached area, open his month and told her to let another lady do it. All tho she was very nice , she gave me the worst haircut I've ever had , but last December, I took my dad with me , and a bit of the same . I have generally had decent experiences here, until I asked the owner to cut my 3-year-old son's hair today. What a complete ass. He cut one side and my son (3 years old mind you) began to get a little restless. At this point, the owner refused to continue. Not only did he refuse to continue, he mentioned that he would fire anybody who would continue to cut when the child gets restless. He sent us away with my son's hair completely jacked and told us to go pay $25 to cut his hair in the mall. They claim to be family friendly, but this experience says otherwise. We have been coming here for almost 3yrs now. We started coming here for my son when he was 1. We took him to the "kiddie" haircut place in the mall and for the price they did the WORST JOB. Our first barber we got was Rudy and he was AMAZING with his precision and attention to detail and his patience with our son. We have also worked with Dante when Rudy is not there or busy and we LOVE Dante as well. They both are younger guys but keep it professional during the haircut and are great with my son who is now going to be 4. He is now so comfortable with a haircut that he sits better then adults. Love this place and we love Rudy and Dante. read more
