Lots of activities for all ages. Toddler care available. Sunday school programs for all ages. Sometimes it is difficult to meet people since it is such a large church but they do encourage you to join a small group to get connected! Parking can get a bit hectic. There is new comer parking available at the church but they do encourage people to park at the nearby GO stations where they have bus shuttles to the church.

It is a prosperity gospel church so you'll hear a lot of messages that are more like motivational speaking that aims to stroke your ego and make you feel better about yourself. Having attended this church, I never heard a sermon on sin, repentance or sacrifice instead, there's a disproportionate amount of sermons on health and wealth. I recall a weekly convention held there where the guest speak spoke only of all the possessions he had accumulated, and he's a reflection of the leadership that invites him yearly. Just check out their mission and vision on their website to see 1/4 of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Almost everyone in the church will tell you that they want to be a millionaire and will gauge spiritual health by physical possessions. This organization has a reputation of being more of a business than a church and from the inside, I can tell you this is true. It's a family run and operated franchise where people become pastors by marriage If you're looking for a church, please review it's doctrinal statements on their website or call to find out. Ask them what The Gospel is and if nothing is mentioned of sin, repentance, and communion with God through the Grace of His son Jesus Christ...run and never look back!!

Most of the candidates of election from different churches were here. The whole ceremony was hosted by the Archbishop. I was lucky to be invited to be a Godmother of 2 candidates. Then I had the opportunity to come here. There was a big fountain of Holy water. I should have brought an empty bottle to fill it up. What a great chance! After the ceremony, they offered some refreshments in a hall next door. I definitely will come again with my family next time.

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a member of this church's congregation, my review if strictly based on attending the Christmas and Craft/Bake Sale held annually by the church's womans auxiliary. I did manage to sneak into the sanctuary itself and have to admit, the church is quite stunning. Not stunning as in the way Notre Dame Cathedral is stunning...but stunning non-the-less. Douglas Fir ceilings with a huge pulpit and ample seating, the sanctuary is beautiful. I only had a few minutes to walk around, as people started arriving for a wedding, but I made a mental note to go back on another day. The bake/craft sale itself was off the charts amazing. Cookies, pies, cakes, hand knit items, Christmas decorations (urns, wreaths and table centre pieces), tons of prizes for their raffle, pizza, etc...this woman's auxiliary are pros at doing it right. I just had to buy some home made cookies, which I have to admit, were "heavenly". Who knew that they were such great salesmen as well........while pondering whether my waistline and blood sugar levels could handle a lemon glazed Bundt cake, this devilish sweet lady said "It's for the church....c'mon...you look great". I either had to buy the plate of cookies or marry her....I opted for the cake (not sure if I made the right choice). When she saw I was a push-over for Italian desserts, she had managed to wrestle $35 from me in just cookies alone ! She also mentioned that she expected to see me back at their annual Mothers Day Bake/Craft sale. I'll be there. While driving by last night, I noticed that they have their nativity scene up and lit in the parking lot (by the main doors). I'm usually not a fan of nativity scenes...but this one is well constructed and the figures are lifelike (I wonder if its the woman's auxiliary posing.....) Anyways....great Bake Sale and despite buying so much food...it was gone within a few days.

Is it odd to review a house of worship? Is it more odd to write a review since I'm not exactly "the…read morebest catholic" and my church attendance lately seems to be limited to Christmas, Easter and weddings? I think, maybe? At any rate, this review is less about the priests and the services and more about my long affiliation with this church. I was a member of this parish from around 1990 until sometime in my late teens, early 20s. The building was always beautiful and a younger more ADHD Kris U always had something to distract him between the intricacies in the ceiling, the beautiful upper balcony and the massive stain glass windows. Truly a beautiful and HUGE church and ahead of its time for the late 80s /90s. The main reason we came here for years was the services, the music and the amazing pastor (Father Bill). Father Bill (now retired) was the heart and soul of this parish, commonly including jokes and references to Toronto sports teams successes and failures in his homilies and during end announcements. There wasn't a mass you went where you didn't think "I wonder what he'll say this week?" Plus his dog walked down the aisle by his side each week and sat on the alter with him. So cool! And remember this was the 80s/90s, both dogs and jokes were super new for the church. I had my communion here, my sister was baptized here and the Christmas nativity scene each year was of all of Bethlehem, not just the manger. Lots of great memories here and that's why this church will forever be 5 star in my heart!

So blessed to be able to serve in the worship team and join the youth service here . Met so many people that love to worship god . Many young people are going on their own way including myself before. Praise god for the people serving in this church. There were only 1 service time in the morning on Sunday . There's also children church during Sunday service .

They are friendly and welcome all backgrounds. I come from Vancouver full gospel church. And I will make this my home church in Toronto.
