Unbelievable!! They picked up my package from sender, drive it across Ontario to Kanata, now won't deliver it because "the packaging is wrong" I've been calling every day for over a week, and finally got that answer . I can't drive to go get it, and if I do, I won't get a refund on shipping. The tracker kept telling me if coming tomorrow, so I take off work and stay home to sign , and the package never came . I lost a weeks worth of work/ money waiting for it, only to finally get an excuse about the packaging. Your drivers should have some respect for peoples property. My security camera caught a ups delivery man scratching my car with a package reader attached to his pants pocket as he walked by my car. Put his hands on my car as well. If you can't deliver a simple package without damaging people's property you are useless! Will never use ups again. Their online tracking website and app are useless. It listed my package as released to a non-ups broker. I called UPS to ask what that means and couldn't get a consistent answer but was told I would get the package in 1-2 business days. I later get a notice that a first delivery attempt was made and I was not home. I called to ask if I can pick it up from an access point and the UPS rep said my package was still in customs?! I told her that's not possible because a delivery attempt was already made. Spoke with another rep who said I have to be home (although no signature is required) now I have to wait at home between 9 am to 5 pm if I want to receive my package. Unbelievably rude and incompetent. Since the local UPS store has closed a customer has to travel to their cental depot, over an hour away to get their parcel. What is the point of ordering online? You are sometimes given the option of a second delivery to another address, so I suggested it be delivered to their downtown location. That would have cost me $30.00 After 6 unsuccessful calls to these neanderthals the parcel was sent back to the point of origin. The driver attempted delivery 3 times. I work for a living, so wasn't home to accept the package. That's fine. So, as directed, I called the number on the slip left on my door, entered my tracking number, and was told that I could pick up my package at the Stevenage drive location. So, I drive out to that location (45 minute drive) to be told that my package is not there - it's at 999 Moodie Drive. I drive out to Moodie, and there is a sign on the door saying that customer pickup is NOT available at this location effective immediately and that I must go to Stevenage drive. Really??? So I called UPS and they told me that they do not know where my package is and therefore I cannot pick it up anywhere. Their solution was to charge me more money to have the package delivered to my work. I will NEVER use UPS again. read more

Every single time I order from ups there's an issue. I used to never order from retailers who used ups. For the only fact that they never bothered going in my building to deliver my packages. I'd be waiting all day then on my way out notice a notice for me at the entrance... well I moved to a town house. My girlfriends birthday was coming up. So I bought her a gift... paid an extra 19.99 to have next day Air shipping... it's been over a week. I called and asked to have them hold the package for me. And I'll pick it up from that dreadful Stevenage office. So I headed there to find out that they don't have my package... it's at a different office. But I can't pick it up there.. I have to wait another day for them to deliver it to the stevenage office... I wish I could rate you with no stars and I will definitely go back to boycotting and retailers using only ups. My boyfriends package came to our door and apparently we had to pay a fax fee? So we needed to pay 60$ to get our package. The delivery man said we don't take cash and don't take health card as I.D. But if you go to 2281 stevenage dr, you can pay cash. So my boyfriend got a ride from a friend..... A very long drive because it's out In the middle of no where. When he got there they said they wouldn't take cash or pre paid credit cards. So the next day I go back with him with my debit card and a pre paid credit card. They took his health card as I.D and they took the pre paid credit card... When one day before they said they wouldnt... I wasn't impressed at all. The post office is a small box like room, it was dusty, and looked dirty. The guys work shirt looked like it had stains on it and there was flies flying around. It was over all a bad experience. Another time UPS came to my building to give me a package. He didn't want to walk up the stairs so he gave it to someone in my building to give to me! Uhhh... Pretty sure they can't do that... I swear they NEVER tell the drivers when your package has cleared through customs, meaning that the package is ALWAYS late, and you always have to chase them down through the bureaucratic customer service channel just to get it delivered at all. They charge ridiculous brokerage fees, and even if you self-clear through CBSA they'll keep withholding the package until you take matters into your own hands and raise a fuss. I'm so sick of dealing with this company, the individual employees are nice enough but it's just a terrible experience dealing with UPS. read more

The location is horrible to get to, whether you drive or not. Further, the UPS website does not allow to you pay customs brokerage online (thus making it possible to have your package delivered when you're out), or allow you specify a date for delivery (so you can make sure you're home). If you are going to be extremely difficult to reach, atleast change your opening hours because for people that go to school or work,the hours are terrible(weekends are closed) when i called the 1-800 number a few times each person would answer something different so it was hard getting a SURE/EXACT answer. Stay at home entire day waiting for a package, and still didn't get it, no calling texting or knocking. I contacted them so I can pickup the package by Monday, if you let them to delivery your package I believe it can be returned to whereever it came from lol. The worst possible center. All along the way from US to Ottawa, all UPS centers where the package stopped in transit enter their information on-line to track it and in time. Only this center received it over night at 4 am and only by 11:03 they updated the scanning. My package showed no updates online for 27 H!!!!!! More than this it missed the delivery truck and now is re-scheduled for 3 days later (being weekend time). Now I have to take another day time off from work as far as the delivery is very heavy and needs to be delivered at address. read more

Inept delivery crew and no ability to contact to get corrected. Had a package to be delivered to my work address from Amazon. Got a call from another organization on the other side of town saying they received my package. Looked online and UPS states that "Incorrect address" and "The address issue with your shipment has been corrected by the carrier but delivery could be delayed by at least a day." Problem with this? The address was right, there is great signage for my workplace (WITH THE ADDRESS!) and staff were working when there was a failed delivery. Now I'm left chasing the package across town and trying to get the other org to call UPS to pick it up and have it sent to me. UPS won't deal with me b/c I am not the sender or the site that received it. At least Amazon stands behind their service. If I can't get my package, they'll refund or replace the package. wow is all I can say... I phoned to make arrangements to pick up my parcel on a friday afternoon at 1700hrs (5pm) with the phone centre. I was not expecting much because I called the day of... when I arrived the parcel was not there and it was out for delivery and I learned that only one of my parcels had been identified to be held for pick up so the lady was nice enough to request the other two (three in total) to be held for pickup. Did I mention that it came up as undeliverable because the driver forgot the COD paperwork and even if I was home he couldn't give it to me because he was missing forms... Monday came and I checked the online system that indicated the parcel was to be held for pick up by customer so I braved the traffic (1hr) and got there at 1700hrs again and to my surprise.. they were sent to my house for delivery.... ok.. not impressed.... I wanted to know how that was possible as the system indicated it was for client pick up and I confirmed this with the lady behind the desk that friday past. Essentially the driver never scanned the parcels before he left.. blame it on the driver... good one... I asked if I could wait for him to return.. nope.. they work from the Napean centre and you can't go there for pick ups... driver doesn't get back until after 1900hrs (7pm) but there is no chance he can deliver it when a normal working person is at home....I asked if the parcel would be there tomorrow (tuesday) .. no promises because it takes 48hrs to move from Napean to the Stevenage Dr location (in the same city) and that would be monday (today) and tuesday (tomorrow) and it is full business days so no promises for tomorrow either... So I called to ask the phone centre whats up.. the guy told me I could pick it up tomorrow from the Stevenage location .. when I asked it would be there he said yep.. but when I mentioned the issue i had with the driver not looking at the change in drop location monday the rep told me it was my fault and I should have made better arrangements...ok... will try again tomorrow... read more

UPS will charge you an additional service charge of $23 to send your package to one of their more convenient UPS stores. If you are not home to sign for it, or can't travel to the ends of the earth (Stevenage Drive) to pick up your package, which is Closed in the middle of the day!!, you may as well send your order back to the retailer. After 3 failed delivery attempts they send it back anyway, they ask for an alternate address to deliver to but need ID and signature, and wont specify time of day, although their notification card allows for the time to be specified. I did that with an llbean item, insisted they send it back because I order online for convenience, like most people. They then sent me a bill for $33 for cross border fees! Horrible, clueless agents that I swear are robots. I limit online shopping to retailers that use Canada Post. It's high anxiety dealing with these people unless you're a senior or a trust fund kid that's home all day. read more
